”The public phone numbers for both the majority and minority offices of the House Oversight Committee now give callers a separate option to complain about the Trump administration.”

Chaffetz’s pre-recorded message for those wishing to complain:

To be fair, Trump is creating new jobs. We didn’t expect them to be in the House Oversight Committee Call Center and in tech support for their phone system, but hey - a job’s a job, right?

The problem is the calls are being routed through a Drumpf-owned phone bank, which will slam your phone bill with phony charges.

Ok, I just read the article twice, and still didn’t see the actual phone number. Does anyone have it?

"Chaffetz said he had “ two years’ worth of material already lined up” relating to […] Hillary Clinton. He has been more deferential to President Trump…"

The country is being stolen out from under us while Chaffetz is being “deferential”. You better start doing your job, Jason, or “deferential” is going to morph into “aiding and abetting”.

It would be helpful to actually publish the number, don’t ya think…

From last night’s footage it looks like Chaffetz is one more ignored Trump scandal away from being listed on a travel ban to his congressional district.

It’s already at the aiding and abetting level, IMO.

Chaffetz’s “Contact Me” page also requires putting in a zip code to help know if people are from his district for serious. Is that new? If so, could be part of this story. I certainly have never seen something like this for other congresspeople I have contacted.

Press “3” for impeachment.

It appears president Bannon’s little plan for white supremacist world domination is headed right down the crapper.

He has been more deferential to President Trump, telling the Huffington Post that
it had only been a “few days” since the Inauguration, and that, “All
the flailing before he was even sworn in was a bit silly, if not purely
immature.”
…
Do ya still feel that way, Jason, in light of the 9th circuit court’s decision yesterday?
Immature flailing?
Really?

Seems to me that DT is the one who is “flailing”.

The Trump administration has worked out a plan B so no one in the administration will have to go on TV to shill for Ivanka’s line of goods in the future.

The mailboxes are full, but I left a message at the offices of both Rep. Chaffetz and Rep. Elijah Cummings. The numbers are: Chaffetz - (202) 225-5074 and Cummings - 202-225-5051.

No. They pretty much all do that. Certainly both my senators and my rep do that.

“[T]his is not typical,” said Jennifer Werner, the communications director for the committee’s Democrats, in an email to TPM, when asked whether the Oversight Dems had operated a separate option for executive branch inquiries under previous Presidents.

“It reflects the massive number of calls we have been getting since the election urging the committee to conduct basic oversight of the Trump Administration,” she said.

Oh, this is just beautiful. Basic oversight. And there’s so much more there.
