Discussion: House Oversight Chair: I'm Not Gonna Investigate Trump's Voter Fraud Claims

…and you were too chickenshit to mention this during the elections when ā€˜voter fraud’ was being screeched ???

ā€œOn the voter fraud issue that really happens at the county level. I don’t see any evidence, but the President has 100,000 people at the Department of Justice that if he wants to do an investigation, have at it. I just don’t see any evidence of it,ā€ Chaffetz said.

The coward is afraid that any probe would uncover all the GOP voter suppression which is the real problem.

Yo, Trump! You’ve lost Chaffetz. Game over. All your base are belong to us.

Has anyone ever seen Rep. Chaffetz and Reince Priebus in the same room at the same time?
Just wondering.

Maybe he’s going to investigate President Asterisk’s use of an unsecured Android phone instead.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Just made myself laugh.

Well I have, but speaking about what they were doing makes me woozy.

He’s still trying to find that unicorn of Hillary’s supposedly criminal activity because otherwise his career is pathetically mediocre.

Trump just doubled the price of joining his country club. Now it’s $200,000, far more than an average person’s lifetime savings. He can bankroll an investigation using that money.

Meanwhile, let’s see the written reports of the findings of Trump’s Hawaii birth certificate posse. What, there are none? I’ll be darned.

When asked if he thought it might be a waste of time or taxpayer dollars, Chaffetz said, ā€œThat’s why I’m saying the Oversight Committee is not planning to do anything with it.ā€
Chaffetz said it’s up to Trump if he wants to spend DOJ money on voter fraud investigations.

ā€œThat’s his decision to make,ā€ Chaffetz said. ā€œIt’s not something we’re pursuing.ā€

Go ahead, smirk-face, you can do it–admit it–your Dear Leader is full of it.

Hate to find that Trump’s the fraud, right?

He’s probably horribly disappointed that Trump won. He was looking forward to at least four years of endless hearings and investigations. Now he’s left holding his schlort. He can’t go after Trump, so he’s got nothing left.

Okay, Chaffetz’s response may not be much…
but at this point I’ll eagerly embrace any
nod to sanity, no matter how small…

Don’t worry, I’m sure that Russians, Chinese and Israeli spies do not know how to intercept unsecured cell phone transmissions.

Considering how ineffectual his ā€˜investigations’ have been, who needs him?

We’ve got Trump’s DOJ to do the job.

Since we know that we can’t indict Hillary with the findings, he isn’t interested.

I’m actually all in favor of having Trump tilt at this particular windmill. There’s nothing there, and it will divert him from more harmful pursuits. As an added bonus, it could actually reveal Republican/Russian perfidy. What’s not to like?

Well then, Chaffetz, how about investigating the private email server that Bannon is using? Hmmmmm?

If you can make Chaffetz look like the voice of reason…
