The vote, 217-213, on President Trump’s 105th day in office, keeps alive the Republican dream to unwind the signature legislative achievement of former President Barack Obama. The House measure faces profound uncertainty in the Senate, where the legislation’s steep spending cuts will almost certainly be moderated. Any legislation that can get through the Senate will again have to clear the House and its conservative majority.
And somewhere the people who need ACA and voted for trumpp are cheering.

As a general rule, I do not think it is not a good idea to talk about winning a big victory before it is, in fact, won.
A cautionary tale–In HS I was on an excellent wrestling team. Based on our strong show at regionals, we were picked by the Washington State Wrestling News to win the state 1A title. Upon hearing this, several teammates started designing our State Championship patch before we even showed up at the tournament. But then our best wrestler was hurt in his first match and was out of the tournament, a couple of our high seeds were upset, and we ended up about 15th.
We did, however, have a great championship patch design, so there is that.

How will this affect the healthcare insurance for Members of Congress? Aren’t they tied to Obamacare? Now they get screwed too I guess. Did they think of that angle?

Maybe I’m just pessimistic today, but I don’t really see the Democrats taking back the Senate in '18. I honestly feel it’s too high a mountain to reach the top and to that other side. I suspect the Senate to remain in Republican hands … at least at this point. However, there’s still plenty of time for that to change.

Perhaps Trump is unaware you need both the House and Senate to approve the legislation. That would not be outside the realm of possibility, given his past statements on the Constitution.
