Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) said on Wednesday that he’s excited to support Donald Trump’s bid for the presidency because he thinks the GOP nominee will bring “change,” even if that change isn’t “good.”
Is there something in the water in Kentucky that make folks just plain stupid?
Apparently.
Rep. Massie: “You’ve gotta throw eggs all around the kitchen to make an omelet, right?”
More like a baboon throwing poo.

Oh, I like the breaking eggs metaphor, that was very compelling. Let’s have an orgy of mindless destruction led by a rage-filled insane lummox and maybe when the dust settles, breakfast will be on the table. Somehow. I’m glad we have this man sitting in the world’s greatest deliberative body, so that frivolous idiots will have a voice in Washington along with the rest of us.
Fuck. This is why Trump happened, if you want to know. Idiots like this. I’m really beginning to hate starting the day this way.

Must have really enjoyed the Kool-Aid and had extra helpings.
Well, I’m not!

Neither is Plucky.
Our water is just fine!
Pay no attention, Massie is a little twerp.
Take heart, Matt. The nation has survived much worse than this (what with the Civil War and all). Plus, you are smart enough to trust Nate Silver, that Trump will almost surely be humiliated in the election. So now is the time to laugh at the dead-enders.
I’d like to break his eggs…
Well, there are obvious exceptions. You must drink imported bottled water. :-}
Even under oath, Donald Trump struggled with the truth

Putin: Change has worked very well for me. I am positive I will be thrilled by that impending change in my new province.
Change for the sake of change. That makes sense. Sure.
(I’d like to talk with this guy, I’ve got some waterfront land in Florida that I’d be happy to sell him, cheap.)
Of course you’re right. Atypically enough the big picture is where to look if you want to cheer up. Usually the big view is depressing and you have to look at kitten videos to feel better.
Heh. I remember in 2008, right around the last day or so, some reporter asked an Obama staffer how he felt about the election and the guy said he was “cautiously nauseous.” Eight years and I’m still chuckling over that one. Fair bit of existential wisdom embedded in it. : )
