I really don’t understand those people who repeatedly vote for a callous, cruel, inhumane person like that one. It must be they believe it won’t happen to them (until it does), they are paying no attention, they are as callous, cruel and inhumane, they are too whack to think about anything else, or all of the above.
But seriously – are those people friends with other people who tell them to move to another state, or worse, to die when they are faced with life-or-death hardships? It’s this level of basic human decency/relationship question… yes, my head knows there are that kind of heartless whacks out there, and yet, I still don’t get it.
As a former resident of North Carolina, I posted this on my Facebook feed. Nothing would make me happier than to see his constituents force him to move out of Washington D.C. What an idiotic thing to say.
It’s really sad when dip shits are unaware that they are dip shits. It’s also outrageous when they are in elected positions of power. Sad + Outrageous.
Slow learners down there in the Carolinas, is this not the same band of assholes that have fucked up legislation costing billions of dollars in commerce and demonstrable bad will for the state.? How do people react when their “representatives” literally stand up and tell them to go Fuck themselves? WHEN does an angry populace acknowledge they have the wrong people in place and move aggressively to replace them?If they are too indolent or ignorant to move to help themselves, they will be dying in the streets and free to fix the blame where it belongs, squarely on themselves.
Eh, Lincoln was wrong to be so easy with the Southern power structure. Maybe if the Radical Republicans hadn’t been hobbled by Johnson we would have seen how the region would flourish without the rigid class system clumsily disguised by encouraged racism.
Basically, it’s the backlash to people like me. Of course, I moved out a while ago but I remember the resentment well. When asked about Jim Hunt’s success in getting companies and agencies to locate within North Carolina, and specifically the so-called Research Triangle, Jesse Helms’ response was that there were more people living in sin in Chapel Hill than the rest of the state combined. I refuse to buy any U2 records because Bono was so solicitous of Senator Asshole. Of course it was for a noble cause, but the only reason why Helms made common cause with Bono was because the people in Africa who suffered from AIDS weren’t faggots. His words, not mine. So sorry for the really and truly great people who live there but if they don’t mount a more sustained resistance to what is going on, then they are at least partly to blame.
Our freedom to find a state that doesn’t ban a service, who has an employer who participates in a plan that offers the option, and who’ll hire someone from another state.
Yeah. We’re so in control, Republicans are pro-choice, and Donald Trump didn’t collude with the Russians.
Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-NC) on food safety regulations: “If you’re worried that the giant agribusiness corporations are selling you unsafe, poisoned or adulterated food, just have your butler taste it first. Jeez, this isn’t rocket science!”
When I hear a callous, mean fucker like this I am reminded of how often we have to suppress impulses to just slap some son of a bitch across the mouth hard enough to bust his lip.
That’s the price we pay for civilization.
GOP: “I’m so sorry you must uproot yourself from your home state and move out West, just so you can access proper healthcare through good insurance. I’m sure your family will miss you. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a wall to fund. Bye.”
But no Republican ever said to the poor Trump supporter in rural America without a good job to relocate to where the jobs are. Or get some training, or do anything else for self-help. But healthcare - yes, move!
