Races to obstruct justice before losing the power to do so.
These mofos honestly believe going after the Russia probe is going to save their asses?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
And if the intelligence agencies and its investigators wanted to destroy Donald Trump before the election, I am sure they could have done a much better job of it. Can you imagine the shit that they must have stashed away about that skeevy bastard?
Doesn’t seem helpful to the dufus House GOpers to call these particular folks for testimony.
Backfire Royale.
I am praying for the Democrats to take the House, not just for the obvious policy and sanity reasons, but so I won’t have to see so much of that damn Howdy Doody-looking freak Trey Gowdy on my screen.
Anyone receiving a subpoena should tell the committee they have to wash their hair that day. The other response is, “I can fit you in sometime after Thanksgiving.”
Self own part gazillion coming up. Too stupid to know when to breathe without a life coach present.
Playing exclusively to “the base” is a recipe for losing 2018 elections. Keep it up, you utter loons.
Isn’t it strange that Republicans want to hear EVERYONE about the Russia investigation, and NO ONE about Kavanaugh.
Republicans have countered by claiming that the Russia investigation was initiated by officials seeking to undermine Trump’s campaign.
Despite the fact that the investigation pre-dates Trump’s campaign. Just a minor stumbling block.
House GOP Races To Get Testimony From Ex-Russia Investigators Before Midterms
If these people can legally decline this, they should tell Jordan, et.al. to bugger off.
Legal or not, if I were these witnesses, I’d have my Counsel sit it for me on the dates specified, and have said Counsel state that “my client has no knowledge or comment on your (silly-ass) question.” These are private citizens at this point, only a Subpeona can compel their presence, but nothing compels their trstimony on topics old retired folks can’t recall or would violate their oaths to protect classified information if disclosed. the GOP will be powerless to hold anyone in Contempt of Congress in 4 short months.
I’m sure Goodlatte and the other Chairman have their personal hand notated calendars from the time that show there was something hinky going on.
You’ll be happy to know he’s gone either way, he’s not running for reelection.
As for the R’s claiming the silly “deep state” wanted to take down Fat Nixon: Well if they did want to, they sure didn’t try very hard. I guess they’ll claim they wanted to but were incompetent, the same way they claimed Obama was an evil genius behind every one of their fever dream plots, but at the same time he was incompetent to run the gov’t. They get away with this because the Reactionary Noise Machine has prepped their followers’ for 40 years so they’re perfectly comfortable with cognitive dissonance.
And tell Gowdy to get a gay hairdresser. What self-respecting salon worker would honestly say to this man, “Gee, your hair looks wonderful!”?
Thing is that if anyone of those folks there trying to interview were or are cooperating with mueller and/or any part of the investigation they cant tell them shit…
POUND SAND WANKERS…
Follow up questions:
- Is Trey Gowdy married? Does he have a significant other?
- Does she/he really allow him to leave the home dressed and looking like that, every fucking day?
- Is that the South Carolina “Brooks Brothers” look?
- Does he not own a mirror in his apartment?
If they have any gumption, they’ll tell the House to eff off, and dare them to do something about it. What’s Nunes going to do? Arrest her? Treat the way Starr treated Susan McDougal? Yeah, that’ll work, I’m sure the “optics” of Ms. Yates dragged into court the way Ken Starr dragged Susan McDougal in, I’m sure that will play well with the voters, esp the women folk, right?
Ask about his hair dresser, does she/he drink heavily?
