I think the Republican leadership should take all steps to help the Republican party survive.That bill isn’t one of them.

If the person is not given a choice but by law must unnecessarily spend, spend, spend, then personally I’d sue them to force them to at least pick up the tab, what is it now $400K from birth to 18, then add in college, etc, etc, etc…
in addition…
women will be required to wear a Scarlet ‘A’… for abortion… to make it easier for companies to discriminate…
women will be required to raise the child with no help from the Federal Government…
if women apply for state aide (allowed) they will be required to attend church and raise the child with the appropriate religious fealty…
women are not allowed birth control because clearly an abortion proves that they are both amoral and immoral…
NO GOP war on women here…

I wonder how Hobby Lobby feels about a six-figure trip to the incubator, after the court made them exempt from $100 a month for birth control.

Right. because repugs are so sensitive and want smaller government. This new bill does nothing less than confirm it as does every repug legislature in every state they control.

Could this bill be interrupted as the GOP being obligated to also provide the same healthcare to all fetuses after they leave the birth canal, grow up and become adults…till they die? That would be supporting the ACA, right?

I’m still on my first shot of bourbon, but I don’t think I understand this article. A woman goes in for a late term abortion, which is usually performed because of gross defects of the fetus which would render it non-viable, or a pregnancy that threatens the health or life of the mother. IF she finds out before week 20, otherwise she will be unable to get a legal abortion. With some flexibility if the poor woman was raped and was unable to get an early termination for some reason. Anyway, woman goes in for an abortion, and - against her express wishes - the doctor is obligated to take strong measures to keep the fetus alive. After which, the state adopts the baby, pays the hospital bills, provides counseling and therapy for the mother, and assumes responsibility for the next 18 years, or even longer, even if that involves 24/7 medical care and expensive equipment?
That can’t be right… that kid would be a member of the moocher class!

Why do republicans hate women? It’s as if they really believe that no GOP woman has ever had an abortion, enjoyed oral sex or had a self organism.That’s the GOP plan. Keep women quiet, in the kitchen and do what you want with them in the bedroom. The good old days when only rich white women could get safe abortions.
