If only there had been a Planned Parenthood clinic in Benghazi…
Pay no attention to that fundraising GOP webpage behind the curtain; it has nothing to do with GOP fundraising.
“This webpage has been dormant and frankly we thought it had been taken down. It’s pathetic that Democrats would try to insinuate a dormant webpage is brand new in an effort to distract from the very important work of Chairman Gowdy’s committee,”
So they admit they’ve been fundraising off it from the get-go, which supports the idea that it’s been a partisan political 2016 election strategery from the get-go.
Fucking imbeciles.
They should return all the money donated on that page to the donors: it was raised by fraud.
Fuck their donors. If only there was a way to force them to donate it to Planned Parenthood.
There are seven Congress members on the House Fund Raising Committee. It is reformed after every election. Boehner was a member, Greg Waldon (R-OR) was a chair in the past and Lynn Westmoreland R-GA is a past vice-chair. Anybody know who the current chairs are? (A simple google search didn’t get very far.)
It’s pathetic that Democrats would try to insinuate a dormant webpage is brand new in an effort to distract from the very important work of Chairman Gowdy’s committee,"
It’s pathetic that the Repugs would form a special committee and spend millions of taxpayer dollars to defame a potential political opponent who has given years of her life to public service. What’s the matter? Are they afraid they can’t beat her on the merits?
No, they know that they can’t, . . . particularly with the cast of clowns now running for the GOP nomination.
To borrow from an old country politician’s joke, I used to think the Repugs didn’t have the brains of jackasses. I was wrong. They do have the brains of jackasses.
Yeah, that was pretty hilarious – how dare you point to an old webpage to suggest that an old Select Committee was set up for partisan purposes.
Here’s some contemporaneous reporting on the matter by Chris Hayes. I like the part where we learn that 206 House Republicans asked to be on the Select Committee. Ka-ching:
National Republican Congressional Committee webpage that used the probe to solicit political donations.
Not POLITICAL ? what a bunch of self-serving frauds!
Too little, too late!
So… it was/is ALL about Hillary according to the GOP Campaign Arm. Poor Boehner, how is he going to explain away this… Let’ hear it Boehner. I’m sure your explanation will be entertaining. Remember, you just met with the Pope - try for honestly with this spin…
Do you think Boner will shed any tears?
“This webpage has been dormant and frankly we thought it had been taken down. It’s pathetic that Democrats would try to insinuate a dormant webpage is brand new in an effort to distract from the very important work of Chairman Gowdy’s committee,” NRCC Communications Director Katie Martin said in a statement."
So it is the Dems who are pathetic. What projection.
.Benghazi…the gift that will now be a terrific gift to the Dems once we get to the general election. I can already see the ads that are being developed by the Dems as the GOP ‘debates’ using it for fundraising.
The question is: Who’s fundraising will it help? I am betting it will be the Dems in the fall of 2016.
First of all, there is no such thing as a dormant web page. If it is accessible, it’s being indexed and can be found with the Google machine. I guarantee it was drawing money for the RNC as long as it was up.
Second, the RNC flack accused Hillary’s campaign of calling the page ‘brand new’, but she used the word ‘still’ in her tweet. Since when does the word ‘still’ imply ‘new’?
