Discussion: House Dems Demand 'Complete And Unredacted' Mueller Report By April 2

We need one major Dem to step forward and openly accuse Trump of WANTING Russian help in the next election, similar to the help he received in the last one. How the hell lost in all this drama is the fact the Russians assisted their preferred candidate in 2016 is the real outrage.

Keep pounding the table, complete and unredacted report or it begins to look like Barr thinks he’s a minor king to King Dumb Dumb.

When are the Democrats going to learn how to issue a subpoena?

They could have the damn report this afternoon.

And how about those Crime Family tax returns?

Republicans have been the party of Russian sympathizers for decades. American rich men can only dream of the power and autonomy those Russian guys have. What good is money when a six-billionaire, football owner can’t even get an extra special massage without being videotaped and arrested?

Boom! The first cannon has fired.

They’ll never receive the full report. There will be redactions, assertions of Executive privilege, claims the reputations of innocent people need protected, intel the White House labels as unverified or hearsay and thus off limits, etc. Every conceivable justification to narrow the scope of what is provided will be used. Any attempts to get disputed pages will be litigated all the way to SCOTUS. Subpoenas will be ignored. Middle fingers flashed to threats of contempt filings. The entire process will be akin to pushing a chain uphill. In a hail storm. While being chased by rabid badgers.

When are you going to figure out that subpoenas aren’t some magic bullet that makes everything happen immediately?

People don’t just shudder in their shoes at a subpoena, they get lawyers, go to court, fight them, draw it out.

And there is Mueller himself, who may have some things to say…

To Congress.

Which will just feed the drumbeat of “what are you covering up”, and everyone (even the media) will begin to assume the worst.

We already know, from Jr., that you can meet with russians with dirt offered on your opponents, but not have “cooperated” with them under the DOJ ‘definition’ of cooperation…

That is one of the most frustrating things I have seen in the past few days. There is a drumbeat, but all the organs and machinations of derp in the U.S. are working overtime to minimize this drumbeat.

Just using the populations of Romania or Algeria for proportionality, there should be a well-covered running narrative (by the press) of about 10 to 15 million aroused citizens dropping by that Fat Panda-Bear’s** office.

Agreed. I’d much rather see a few million people pour into D.C., paralyze the place and blockade off key routes until answers start coming.

But we’re much more effective at keeping our population from doing effective protest-- we’re the envy of third-world dictators for our ability to conduct a police state.

When are you (and the House Democrats) going to learn that subpoenas work better than sternly written letters?

Just get the damn ball rolling. They still haven’t asked for Trump’s tax returns!

Nevertheless @georgeh has a serious point. When are the Dems going to take some action that is both forceful-looking and timely? They’ve just been wrong-footed, and probably a lot worse, by one of the great propaganda coups of our time.

Glad the request to receive the report is April 2 and not the Foolish Day before.

Just sayin’, your 20 daily posts for subpoenas haven’t gotten documents any quicker than Nadler got thousands with those stern letters.

Things. Take. Time.

Ummmm… It’s Friggin’ Tuesday. The summary came out Sunday Evening…

Unless you expect that Pelosi is going to have the Sergeant at Arms jump in a tank and ram through the doors of DoJ to take the Report by force, don’t see what they could do any quicker?

I vote for the tank ramming doors. It would be very dramatic!

I was starting to think that the news coverage was starting to come around last night after two days of stroking the Mango’s stem. Then I saw coming up on a major network…“The Mueller Report–A Turning Point.” I suppose they could have meant that any number of ways, but I doubt it.

Hopefully T-rump’s call for revenge against critics will get more attention, as will his proposed takedown of the ACA.

These f*****s are so busy doing an end zone dance that they blow the game. We can always depend on the GOPers to overplay their hand.

Unfortunately, our country has forgotten how effective protest works. It’s violent and messy.

We prefer the ‘peaceful’ bullshit where everyone just stands around with signs, having gotten a fucking Permit from the cops to hold the thing, promise to bring enough porta-potties, etc… All while the overlords pat everyone on the head and continue to do whatever the fuck they want.
