Spend that money on sending people to knock on the door of every non-voting dem or suspected dem in the District. It’s far too late for ads to persuade anybody. Turnout is the only thing that matters now.

Totally agree. Amy McGrath would be best served using that money to turn out the black and youth vote in Lexington. She could deploy a force in and around campus to get all those kids to the polls.
I am waiting to see what the senate numbers look like, so far no one has released them. But the first house numbers are quite impressive. Hopefully the D’s can turn this money into both ads but also campaign mussel for GOTV. I don’t know if McGrath can use her $$$$, but both Roskam (chicago suburbs) and Denham (Bay Area Exerbs in the central valley) are in real trouble if they get hit in the final weeks with more ads, plus both D’s (Harder and Casten) can tap a well of volunteers in more blue areas that are nearby.
The downside as I see it is that the money has gone in large part to the candidates themselves, which is great, but the D’s really need more money for infrastructure building (aka the DNC needs the $$$). Hopefully they did well as well, as they have been trailing the RNC so far this cycle.

— IL-13: Betsy Dirksen Londrigan announced she raised nearly $1.7 million.
— MI-02: Rob Davidson announced he raised more than $500,000.
— NJ-04: Josh Welle announced he raised about $750,000 in the quarter.
— NY-24: Dana Balter announced she raised more than $1.5 million.
— OH-01: Aftab Pureval announced he raised over $1.5 million.
— KY-06: Amy McGrath announced she raised $3.65 million and has $1.7 million cash on hand.
— National: The Progressive Turnout Project announced it raised $3.2 million in the third quarter.
And a major sign this won’t slow down: ActBlue announced that Democratic candidates and causes raised more than $385 million through the platform in the third quarter alone, the best quarter ever. For a sense of scale, this bests the platform’s entire 2014 haul. Sept. 30, when ActBlue brought in $16.8 million from 310,000 contributions, was the best single day in platform history.
I’m giving to Democratic candidates in competitive House races in my states.

I think the candidates are much better positioned to know where their money is best spent than the national or interest groups. They have their fingers on the pulse of the people.

The DCCC is running an add for McGrath. I’m glad that the Democratic Party has decided to put money into Kentucky.

Amy McGrath is a Marine. Doncha know that the Marines are the Navys police force. Therfore a Navy veteran.
It’s really close; Barr is running scared.
Five different republican PAC’s have ad’s up right now against her. Barr is coming across as really desperate. And nearly 80,000 Kentuckians lost healthcare because of the republican governor, while the republican legislature tried to strip teacher; police; fire and public workers of their pension.
There’s a lot of hate for all things GOP in the state right now. Rape Apologist McConnell is helping their case either.

If you are in a solid blue district, I say yes, give to the DNC. But those of us in swing districts prefer to donate directly to our candidates. Or help other districts of our choice.
