Go for it, Rep. Louise!

Dems need to fight for this message on every possible front. Many attempts may not go very far, but exposing the GOTP is what counts.

“F*** you. Your need to govern, or give up because you lost control” is what Dems need to say

How ironic that someone named Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) apparently has no regard at all for the four Americans who died due to Hillary and Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s cold, calculating attempts to turn our great nation into a Muslim/Kenyan/Socialist/Communist dictatorship.

Good! Not to throw water on it, but it’s too bad it took a blatant admission by DumDum McCarthy for the Dems to start pushing back. When they’ve known for - how long has this been going on, years, now? - what the investigation was all about.

Democrats need to use every legal, Parliamentary, and rhetorical device they can muster to attempt to force the Repugs to do the peoples’ business; to expose the Repugs’ waste of taxpayer dollars on purely political gambits such as the attacks on Planned Parenthood & Clinton; and to lay waste to the childlike posturing of idiots like McCarthy, Chaffetz, Gohmert, Cruz, Rubio etc. Tie their hands with procedure, amendments, proposals, and petitions until they start doing the jobs they are being paid to do.

The time has come for Democrats to show responsible leadership, even in the face of the dysfunctional GOP majority. Rep. Slaughter’s efforts a good step in that direction.

I liked the letter. I like the Amendment maneuver. The Clinton ad was decent. I do not like the the quiet, intellectual ninny-pants failure to get in front of the cameras and rage about it with orchestrated, unified talking points. I don’t care if Megyn Kelly asks you about ISIS or Rachel Maddow is asking you about Amtrak, the answer should be “motherfuckers should stop abusing our Congress as a political tool and attempting to manufacture controversies and investigations as a means of partisan warfare.” Fight fire with fire.

“Syria who? McCarthy said…”

“Yes, we’re very concerned about ISIS and the GOP’s abuse of congressional power…”

“Well, we’d be able to address Amtrak’s woes if the GOP wasn’t so busy wasting Congressional funds on a politicized partisan stunt that disrespects 4 brave Amurikkkans who gave their lives…”

#“It’s time for the Benghazi Committee to receive orders to stand down.”

Wrong! The select committee on Benghazi “has no regard at all for the four Americans who died” All the Repugs on the select committee are interested in is smearing Hilary Clinton and wasting taxpayers dollars.

It’s good politics all around to go after McCarthy hard on this. If he becomes speaker he’ll come in with a stained reputation, and any alternative would be even weaker. It’s also good for Hillary to score some points on a narrative that will be central to her campaign–the vast right wing conspiracy (which really exists!). It’s a good move with respect to the dem primary too because it shows how much the opposition is focused on her as the real threat. She doesn’t have to mention Bernie. Good strategy all around.

YEAH! Great Move! Make it hard for the RepubliCANTs to move away from this partisan issue!
Dems must wedge all those RepubliCANT mofos up against the wall!

So…a GOTPer is playing cards with his colleagues, and is caught cheating in an obvious and blatant way, but he only actually suffers consequences in the event that he makes the mistake of confessing to cheating in public?

No wonder Democrats can’t win.

Wow that’s really heroic! LOL She hadn’t even proposed the amendment yet and it’s “news”. Sheesh.

Submitting an amendment that’s doomed to fail in a republican controlled house? It’s nothing more than a stunt to get media attention. And … what’s the timing of this announcement? Why didn’t she do this a year ago? What has she been waiting for? Did she finally figure out the committee is a republican fishing expedition?

The kind of opportunity McCarthy presented. You seem unclear on the concepts of timing and public relations.

And that is a bad thing because…?

Shutting down GOP witch hunts is pointless, they just start another.

That is why Obama didn’t bother to answer the birther nonsense until a week before he mowed the head off Bin Laden.

This really isn’t about shutting down the Bengazziiiiii nonsense, it is about killing the email nonsense as well and making it difficult for them to get press backing for the next spurious investigation.

Please do us all a favor and go back and see how many Americans died under W, HW, and Reagan. You look like a total repub tool.

Yes! I’d love to see all the House Dems sign onto that publicly.

“The Benghazi” is a nice touch, Tierney. Sorta like “the crazy”.

Does Charlie need to mark the snark for you? Stop drinkin’ that river water. It’s polluted.
