There’s a shit-storm coming, GOP Congressweasels, and you’re ground zero…
Works both as “Die, Poor Americans” and “Die Poor, Americans”.
So they “huddled” for something that sounds even worse?

I didn’t think it was possible to make this Health Care bill worse.
I have to hand it to the GOP, though…
Looks like they want to make sure everybody hates this bill by the midterms instead of 2020.
F@ck you Trump! You are a piece of sh!t! Quote me!
" If conservatives win the concessions of imposing a work requirement and speeding the conversion of the program into block grants handed out to state, those numbers could increase substantially."
Not to mention that you should keep in mind that any work requirement under this bill would likely be left to the states to implement, maybe even define, so it’s a blatant invitation to red states to focus on doing things like toying with the standards people must meet, fucking inner city minorities out of Medicaid on the theory that there are jobs galore in high populated areas, but allowing rural white methbillies to stay on Medicaid perpetually without even bothering to look for work because there are no jobs in rural areas.
Excellent, excellent. The original just wasn’t mean enough.
They’re anarchists, pure and simple.
This is one of the most amazing developments of my lifetime. When I was young, back in the 60s, anarchists were loosely clustered (in the minds of conservatives) with the Left. You’d see phrases like ‘Marxists and Anarchists sowing discord’, etc. Now the mantle of anarchism has drifted over to the American Right. Remarkable.
Are they still ‘Conservatives’?
Pretty much. As far as they’re concerned, the social contract no longer applies because brown people.
If just “something” passes and DJT signs it, Democrats have a change to take the House in 2018.
The American College of Surgeons, a traditionally conservative leaning organization, has come out against the AHCA.

No, they’re not anarchists. Anarchists are differentiated from right-libertarians by not believing in what Marx termed “private property” (not meaning your furniture and TV - that’s “personal property” - but land, buildings and factory equipment).
I’d very much rather have anarchists.
Although they do have a fetish for adding drug-testing requirements.
This one is easier though, because they don’t have to worry about screwing all the methbillies cooking Sudafed-Starter Fluid cocktails in their doublewides.
Today on Methbilly Food Network…

@sniffit You know who’s turning over in his grave right about now.

“freezing the Medicaid expansion in 2018 instead of 2020, and imposing a work requirement on low-income Americans receiving Medicaid.”
the “16 Tons” requirement…
“Having access to insurance doesn’t mean having access to care,” Loudermilk said. “People have insurance right now and it’s not doing them any good.”
I can’t believe this creature gets to consume our planet’s oxygen.
it does seem as if they are motivated by an intense urge to oversee the struggles of the less fortunate…
Some sort of Simon Legree complex?
Remember that Stanford Prison study?
There’s a little Darth Vader in every ultra-conservative, a dark, demeaning, demanding authoritarian who expects people to struggle, and that isn’t meant as snark.
