Discussion: House Committee Subpoenas Conway To Testify On Hatch Act Violations After No-Show

Meadows and Jordan are full of shit. KAC was found to have violated the Hatch Act multiple times, and the last time she dared anyone to hold her accountable.

Meadows and Jordan accusing the Dems of a political stunt. Now THAT is rich…

Jordan and his henchman, Meadows, need to be neutered using a rusty scalpel.

“We have one standard for Kellyanne Conway and another standard for everybody else.”

Truer words have never been spoken.

“This is one more example of the Democrats’ obsession going after this president.”
Yes. Kind of like Churchill’s obsession about going after Hitler.

Good.

Now start enforcing the subpoenas and getting contempt citations.

Against all of these current and former complicit enablers.

Apparently all of these requests to appear and subpoenas are all political spectacle according to the Rethugs. My question is, why are there so many of these? Could it be there is a bit of wrong doing, corruption in this administration?

Let me predict how this will unfold:

  1. KAC will not honor the subpoana.
  2. Nothing will happen.
  3. Commenters here will proclaim this is yet another victory for the ongoing super-secret case the Democrats are building behind the scenes.
  4. Nothing will continue to happen.

Maybe her husband can come along and help her figure out what she did wrong so she can testify honestly. Oh wait…that means she’d have to admit wrongdoing first. I’m pretty sure that’s the kind of thing that’s off limits discussing in the Conway household anyway. What a very strange couple those two make.

It’s why Gowdy got out of Washington. The Hypocrisy was too much for even him.

Now you’re just being divisive. /s

:fireworks:

Just biding their time until their book contract comes through.

Then, voila, history gets a complete and ‘apologetic’ rewrite.

I’m sure she could care less about his subpoena but I think George takes it a bit more seriously.

I can think of nothing more useless and hypocritical and disingenuous than Republican shit stains like Jordan and Meadows saying “we are better than this”.

Why the need for testimony? Her violations are recorded. Only Trump can discipline her and he won’t.

And a very powerful magnifying glass to find their tiny balls.

Nicole, you say “the Hatch Act — which forbids federal employees from engaging in partisan political activity —”
Are you sure? I thought it forbids them from partisan activity on government time or government property or with government resources. That, say, a couple of FBI agents would be free to express disparaging political opinions about a presdiential candidate, if they were away from their jobs. In other words, the feds have civil rights, too. But not in the White House, on the job.
