Good! Universal Carry is a concept that is long due. States should not be allowed to contravene the 2nd Amendment in the ridiculous manner that some do. If I am licensed to carry in one state, I should automatically be qualified to carry in other states. States Rights are important, but not when they are unconstitutional.
The GOP is only concerned about State’s Rights when the Dems are in charge. Besides, what could go wrong? I mean you have states where you can legally concealed carry with the necessary checks and training, then there’s states where carrying is legal AND law enforcement cannot ask for your permit. Nope, I see nothing wrong with this…

I ride the NYC subway most days. The last time there was a firearms related incident on it where someone was wounded was in the 90’s when an undercover detective was mistaken for a suspect and wounded. Of course there was the infamous Bernie Goetz incident in 1984.
The last thing I and most residents want is some barely trained or licensed person from another state packing heat on it when they visit.
And will all concealed weapons be allowed in the Capitol? The White House? The Supreme Court Building? NRA headquarters?
Priorities.
Smarter. Freer. Safer.

Why not nationalize open carry laws?
Except in some states you don’t have to get a permit to conceal carry, which means they haven’t gone through any training whatsoever. Yes people be very, very careful around Missourians because we’re that dumb.
