Trump: Obama is controlling the hospitals now in order to deflect his roll in wiretapping.
So hospitals, doctors, nurses, and the AARP have lived up against itā¦and hardly anyone is for it.
Hospitals tend to employ many people and have a relatively large economic impact, especially in less populated districts. This may make some Congress people think twice.
So who exactly, with any actual understanding of medical or health insurance issues, actually supports DrumpfDonātCare?
Bueller? Bueller?
The GOP made a huge tactical error here, rushing something out, in secret, after only a couple weekās work.
It is no longer āObamacareā- it is GOPCare now. They own it. They canāt blame Obama anymore.
Trump: I am so glad Electoral College fully supports TrumpCare.
Iāve got swamp land in Arizona for sale, for anybody who doubts they can and will hang this burning tire on the necks of Democrats.
Rule #1 of being Republican is that all blame goes to Democrats
āThe proposed Medicaid program restructuring will result in both the loss of coverage for current enrollees as well as cuts to a program that provides health care services for our most vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly and disabled.ā
Iām not sure these folks quite understand that, to Ryan and the GOPā¦thatās the whole point of the bill.
So take that you little whiners. Get a program that works or get out of our face. Oh and yes. The CBO can and must score it. You are fools for trying to destroy their credibility like youāve done everything else.
Silly hospitals. They think this is about healthcare. Thatās cute.
When does the schadenfreud deluge end!?!?!?!
ā¦if they havenāt used up their āthinksā in thinking about the next electionā¦
ā¦when the Swamp is drained ā¦
Spicer explained: inside the beltway organizations love Obamacare. They donāt represent doctors. Doctors think Obamacare is a disaster. Tom Price is a doctor and he hates Obamacare. and he wrote the new bill.
The Hospitals took one look at the bill and saw the part where THEY would have to resume absorbing the cost of millions of very poor, very sick people coming in to their Emergency Rooms with no insurance coverage and said; āFuck that Shit!ā
They would have to have thought once to think twice, and Iām not seeing much evidence of thought when it comes to GOP members of congress.
@maximus my local rep ācombat podiatristā is at his power weasel best evah supporting ACA repeal ā¦ as greater choice.
Our wise voters (most Medicare expansion and rural hospital workers) voted him in ā¦ along with a GOTP fellow traveler governor because he will defend them against the Congressmanās promises :wtf?:
Never saw so many people moon walk in their wheel chairs and walkers last November.
They need to do more than write strongly worded notes. More like, say, a flier with every discharge saying āCongress is considering a bill that would result in this hospital having to charge more or not being able to offer the following servicesā¦ Please call or write your representative to let them know what you think.ā
Similar story, my emergency room doctor brother-in-law, pre-ACA, always bitched about the un-insured coming to the emergency room for non-emergency treatment, and how those costs were effectively passed on to those having health insurance. ACA was passed, and then the bitching was about how much paperwork resulted, even though that paperwork meant that his department was much more profitable, not having to āeatā unpaid ER visits.
Heās generally a nice guy, but sometimes I just want to slap him upside the head and ask him why heās Republicanā¦
