“The internal investigation was completed, and the allegations were not sustained”
How can this be? Grocery stores in America have better video surveillance than Google.

I think it means the allegations of assaulting an officer weren’t sustained.

So this jerk verbally harasses and physically assaults these ladies, but he gets out of it with “no wrongdoing?” Personally, so long as my court costs and living expenses caused by my forced extended stay were covered, police record cleared and this monkey’s butt had to admit wrongdoing (in detail and in court records), I’d be fine with nothing extra.

Now, call me shallow, but when confronted by lasciviousness from these two, rather than demanding that they desist, I would have taken the opposite tack.

I think the three days in jail were the source of the 80K. Not enough, in my opinion.

Once more taxpayers foot the bill for a dipshit cop. Bad decisions by individual officers cost cities (taxpayers) Hundreds of thousands, even millions, of dollars and no one seems to care, or even notice. We had one here in Minneapolis in the early 90s who cost hundreds of thousands in payouts for brutality suits filed against him. Its nuts and nothing is ever done, our guy finally “retired” and walked away with lifetime healthcare and one of the best pensions you could imagine.

In about 11 years, 500 million in Chicago.

Since the officer considered them separate individuals engaged in… something… and not acting in concert as a state-recognized couple, the settlement works out to 40-grand each.

For public harassment, endangerment, false arrest, three days in jail… it should be 80 each.

Cops do have supervisors. When it became obvious these two didn’t break any laws, a supervisor should have stepped in, and freed them.

Why didn’t this happen? All involved should be fired.

My point was an individual could cost a lot of money. I suspect that that 500 million is generated by the actions of a few dozen individuals. If that.

The police needed to protect themselves from mainland lesbian gangs of cop beaters.

Their MO is usually much like what happened here – lure the cop in with the kissing-lesbians routine, then attack and pound him with no mercy.

According to the offcial report, anyway.

They were not to leave the island after the 3 day jail time pending trial. Both lost their CA jobs.
80K seems low.

@carlosfiance: You’re shallow. And crude.

Now for my thought: mandatory monthly steroid testing for all cops.

I am glad the kissing lovers prevailed against these trumped up charges!

It’s a part of the super secret lesbian agenda! It’s so secret it should never be mentioned in print!
