This is why I have no strong interest in voting for Hillary. She’s reactive, fawning and opportunistic. Instead of getting out in front of right-wing misinformation, she has an uncanny knack (Iraq vote is a prime example) of being dragged behind it.

They are disturbing, and indefensible. Or rather, the only defense possible is to say, “That didn’t happen. The video is a complete fake and what you are seeing in the video never really happened.” But if the actions shown in the video did actually happen then there is no way those actions can be defended.

But even for what it is - centrist-pandering homogenized swill - it’s a misstep.
Does she really WANT a serious battle with Bernie? Trolling for the mythical Great White Evangelist Moderate vote is beyond electorally ignorant, it’s needless hawking of a loogy at women and progressives.
Who TF is advising her on this? And with a move as stupid as this one, does that even matter that much? The best she can hope for now is Bernie goes ballistic on this and forces her into a clarification that gets out from under this total own-goal.

Ms. Clinton, you are better than this. If you are going to comment on these videos, do yourself and all those that rely on the wonderful and life saving services provided by Planned Parenthood and their supporters and actually watch the videos before you comment. If you have not seen the video, simply state that.
Anyone that actually watches them should be disturbed by the deceitful editing. Nothing else I saw disturbed me.

The video isn’t “fake” per se, but rather is a heavily edited version that misrepresents what was being discussed in order to fool people in to thinking that something else was being discussed. In this case, it was edited to try to present the idea that PP was “selling” tissue (hint: it wasn’t). In reality, PP was discussing the costs involved with the shipping and handling of said tissue (all of which is perfectly legal).

Donating fetal tissue from an abortion or miscarriage has been specifically legal since at least '92. Fetal tissue has been used in medical research since the 30’s.
