Winning big as the final act, too. If the numbers hold, she will net more delegates tonight than Bernie did in any of his wins, except Vermont.
Go Hillary!
Congratulations Madam President!
Well done!
Whew! I say we do this primary thing in another say…eight years?
Talk about big finishes - this is hilicious.
Hill Yeah!!!
He honestly could’ve extracted much more out of the party by winding down his campaign two weeks ago and either conceding and/or beginning the process of moving his supporters toward Clinton. With her wins in NM, NJ, CA, and now DC and the latest polls, he’s actually losing leverage and has far less of a case to make as to why he should be given any concessions. With each passing hour, the bigger of an ass Trump reveals himself to be, and the less Clinton needs Sanders to bring his supporters along to her. Sanders is running out of reasons for anyone to listen to him and Clinton and the party are running out of reasons to listen to him.
Bernie will want someone to primary Hillary is four.
but, but, isn’t she limping toward the convention? she’s going to have to limp, isn’t she?
Fabulous!
also, totally predictable.
walking all over trump will give you corns.
As I mentioned the other day, Sanders and a lot of his supporters don’t really understand political dynamics. Every “Sanders voter” that doesn’t back Clinton is ceding leverage and power to moderate and cross-over disaffected Republican voters. So why Sanders backers want to hand over power to moderates I really don’t know.
just a few weeks ago there was the idea, espoused mostly by the not-smart crowd, that trump would cleverly play to the Bernie crowd and try to further divide the Dem camps. Probably something Halperin burped out before saying trump could win California.
Instead, just when he needed to do that the most, he gives us this weeks-long cascade of insane and racist statements. And just in time to remind everyone what’s is at stake here. Hopefully Sanders will do the right thing and make some real effort to prove that what really matters to him is beating trump, as he’s stated.

Exactly right. Sadly, I’ve concluded that he is not capable of playing three dimensional chess – seeing where pieces are on the chessboard and what pieces he has to move, and making the next move to make the most out of the situation. And certainly not capable of making things a win-win for all the parties involved either when he cannot win outright. Instead, what I’ve seen from the guy is a coercive, threatening, blackmailing behavior even when losing.
It’s so not smart I kinda find it almost puzzling. Well, but, it tells us a lot how his judgement operates.
After the horrible events of Sunday and how how they responded in the aftermath, I dare any Bernie voter to tell me there is no difference between Clinton and Trump.
Congrats to Hillary on winning the final primary. Onward to TrumpStomp 2016: The Great Un-Trumpening.
I believe the previously announced face-to-face meeting between Hillary and Bernie is underway right now, either that or it has just finished. Would love to be a fly on the wall for that!
For historical comparison, Hillary met with Obama 3 days after the last primary in 2008, and conceded on the 4th day, in an address to supporters. Bernie has scheduled a livestream address to supporters for Thursday, so if he’s going to concede and/or endorse before the convention, that would be the most obvious time for that to happen. If so, that decision is probably going to start leaking well before his speech, maybe as soon as tomorrow. And when I say “leaking” I mean probably by design.

A Trump presidency, on the other hand, might be, so we need to keep our eyes on the prize.]
The first time I wrote my comment I accidentally replied to you.
They’ve pretty much vanished from TPM of late.
He is deliberately vague so he can continue to demand…opps…leverage concessions from the party nominee. Sanders over played his weak hand and is too delusional to realize it.
