Discussion: Hillary Clinton Speaks Out: 'I Want The Public To See My Email'

Sigh.

The only consolation is that I think it will be a Clinton-Warren ticket.

I think there are probably a lot of women like your mom.

Hilary’s tweet seems to be changing the topic, from whether archivists and persecutions receive all her emails to whether the public sees now those she has provided.

What a fraud of a troll.

Sounds like someone’s feeling inadequate today.

You’re projecting. The Clintons, after continuous, relentless, vicious attacks during the 90’s, perfected the art of responding to critics quickly and defusing the situation. Why do you resent their expertise in navigating the swamp that is dirty politics?

I’m not sure I’d vote for Hillary, but it isn’t because of her education, talent, experience or persona, nor my personal gut reaction to her. It’s the policies that matter to me.

If Hillary is inevitable, I’m crossing my fingers for a Clinton-Castro ticket. Warren can run after Hillary’s 8 years and a stint as Treasury Secretary.

Ditto re two good friends of mine-- rock ribbed Republicans who voted against Obama twice. In separate discussions with them the last couple days: They are not impressed by the Republican bench, and are frightened by some of them. They might vote for Jeb, but are leaning towards Hillary. If anyone other than Jeb, they’re for Hillary in a heart beat.

Never. Warren will not be on the ticket.

Not by Wikileaks either…it was not, while the server at State was.

I did not have sex with that girl…(CHECK and double check, you’re covered, BIG DOG!)

Do you really think Hillary was not aware? It’s all about the semantics. She will be in control her environment. Good girl Hillary. And look she wants to share her e-mails with the public…LOL
Republicans are such tools. I have no doubt that the Republicans have known this all along, since they subpoenaed Hillary’s e-mails for their probe into Benghazi, how could they NOT know? The Republican have been holding onto this little tid-bit, and have been waiting for the ‘RIGHT’ time to spring-it on her image.

I’d like to hear an explanation of why this is a scandal without phrases like “this just reminds people of all the other (phony made up non scandals from the 90’s)” If there is something here, fire to this smoke, I haven’t seen it.

Indeed.

One thing to remember about Jeb … he is NOT a moderate! He only plays one on TV.

Hillary-Julian would be an amazing ticket on so many levels and it would provide us with an awesome Chapter 2 of that ticket.

If Jeb could get the nomination and put New Mexico’s Martinez on the ticket, that could be a problem. Maybe not for younger Cubans and other Caribenos (Caribbean Latinos). But, sometimes, my fellow Chicanos do strange things (like keeping Texas Deep Red).

First of all, Bush has some Latino connection, familially. Second, Martinez, to some extent, addresses the gender issue, while, of course, being Latina.

In addition, Martinez, far from being just a figurehead, has some substance to her:

She is a very unpleasant person.

Good to know. I’ve heard very little about her other than she is GOP, female and Hispanic … you know, the critical factors that would influence a voter who cares about policy?? :-S

This story is rapidly falling apart. The secret email server in her basement? Was actually housed at a data center. But the damage has already been done. Its eeriely reminiscent of the reporting on Bill. Some goon in the backwoods of Arkansas makes a wild-ass claim, and every media outlet runs with it likes it pearls of wisdom dropped from heaven…then finds out months later when they actually, you know, investigate the claims…that there is nothing there.

By then Warren will likely be too old to run. It’s now, or 2020, or never.

…and some of us are really wanting to see Castro throw his hat in the ring all by himself

To me, its a no brainer for Castro. He has absolutely no down side. He increases his name recognition, gets some much needed experience at campaigning on the national stage, and boosts his stock as a VP candidate. That all happens even if he loses. If he actually starts winning, well…

I believe the underlying theme for 2016 is going to be “Change”…and not in some campaign slogan way. The past 6 years have not been particularly kind to most of America, and while its not Obama’s fault, people are going to want to move beyond it. A Clinton or a Bush is moving in exactly the opposite direction from that perspective. I suspect that is probably one of the underlying reasons for why Walker is doing so much better than Jeb in all early polling…he is “change”.

Castro would serve us wonderfully in that same role.

My guess is on the republican side, and this is a VERY early guess, is a Walker-Rubio ticket is much more likely than a Bush-Martinez ticket.
