Discussion for article #223658
Sheās not as masterful at it as is Pres Obama, but Hillary is a chess player. Sheās not going to show her game too early.
Excellent. Allow the right wing to become EVEN MORE unhinged!
Itās Novemeber 2016. Hillary got more than two thirds of the electoral votes. The GOP just lost the popular vote for the sixth time in the past seven presidential elections. The Democrats will have a nice majority in the Senate. Hillary will be appointng justices to the SCOTUS, Phat Tony will be 80, and he isnāt the healthiest looking guy. All the lie generated insane Obama conspiracy theories have been proven to have been baseless, just like all the Clinton āscandalsā were. Mariage equality will be accepted in all 50 states. Obamacare will be recognized as a great sucess by all rational adults.
What happens next will determine the future of our democracy. Will the radical right wing fringe finally accept the results of an election that should prove to them that their agenda isnāt the American agenda? Or will they think that āreal Americansā need to take ātheirā country back from "those people. Tens of millions of under-educated, heavily armed, people who have been radicalized by propaganda, paid for by billionaires, who have been using them as pawns. Will they turn violent or will they realize that their ideology isnāt shared by the vast majority of the country, and itās time to put the best interests of their children and their country, above all else, and work together through the democratic process, and put us back on the path to doing what works?
You go, Hils. Rover, Luntz, Ailes, Murdoch, Koch Bros need that much more stress in their lives. Me, Iām buyinā popcorn.
Some Republican mouthpiece on one of Sunday news programs said a while ago that America wasnāt ready to elect Hillary because it would be a āthird Obama term.ā Their logic has failed.
Iād rather someone capable of authentic empathy, but in lieu of that, I guess sheāll do.
The former, I fear.
Ā®s have been shown the proof of their ideological rejection in so many fashions since the 2010 election-outlier.
Yet. All theyāve managed to do is shore up the Ā®-factor insulating their epistemic bubble.
Unless and until the oligarchical masters of the Ā® party decide that enough of the US Treasuryās and middle-classesā wealth has been distributed upward?
Ā®ubes will continue to dance to their organ-grindersā tune.

As I recall,then-Sen. Obama announced his candidacy for the Dem POTUS nomination in February 2007. I would think waiting until at least February 2015 for her to announce her decision would not be too much for her to ask from her fellow Dems. That would allow time for the holidays to pass, for the new Congress to be sworn in and for Congressional Repubs to show their hand. If I were her,Iād wait until March 2015. Let GOPs twist a little longer.
That is a self-serving statement. The donors are frozen --up and down the tickets . the supporters of a Dem platform are frozenā¦the pumas are there but aside from stirring up the already on board few will make a move.
That saidā¦It is way too early for a declaration and she can not afford another āinevitableā label. Some would hold their noses and vote for herā others not so much till they know where she will stand and that she will and has accomplished something of import. Her senate record is not stellar but treading water and the SOS ???
Well, you are correct that its a empty statement. With the assumption that everyone is working on, that she will run, there just isnāt enough oxygen left for another candidate to start toeing the water. Donors are going to be much more difficult to get on board. Campaign staffers are going to be reluctant to get on board with another campaign as well.
As far as your second paragraph thoughā¦she already has an inevitable label. Thus the reason for no oxygen left for anyone else. Nor is it very likely there are a significant number of voters who donāt already know where she stands on most big issues. She isnāt going to be reinventing herself.
And regarding her recordā¦I donāt even know what you are trying to say there. What exactly did you want her to do as Senator? Use her secret mind control powers to get all the other Senators to vote for her every bill? As SOS, did you expect her to outshine the President? Compare her record to those o the potential republican candidates. 3 first term Senators (Paul, Cruz and Rubio) that have achieved absolutely nothing (including achieving nothing for their tea party base, either)? A House representative who went down in flames as a VP candidate 2 years ago(Ryan)? A couple of governors who are both under investigations(Christie and Walker)?
Sounds good to me.
Itās only June 2014, Mrs.Clinton, we sure donāt want a repeat of the extra long - and mighty boring I must say - 2008 Presidential election campaign. For well over 2 years we were forced to assist to your āperformancesā until you finally lost your nomination bid. So yours is not a āDelayed decision that hurts Demsā, itās instead a wonderful gift to the American people, who will not have to be forced once again to listen to your nonsense. And for that I thank you!
Canāt wait for you guysā nominating contest to get underway. LOL!
IMHO, Hillary is too old to take on the Presidency! Having said that, if she runs, I will vote for her! She has, long ago, been hardened by experiences in the political arena, she is very intelligent and she would be the first woman President! As long as she is healthy, sheās my man!
I hope you arenāt trying to compare ānonsenseā levels for the nominating processes of the two parties. Maybe you should review tapes of the debates each party offered the public (Herman Cain, Michelle Bachmann anyone?? $10,000 bet, āoopsā etc)
Yeah, I really canāt wait for your sideās shitshow. Can you possibly top this gem from last time? Fingers crossed!!
Boring? Yes, boring.
Comparatively, when one recalls the GOP Bros., Burnāem & Bailout Circus.
2016? Hell with popcorn.
Iāll have a pantry full of Fiddle-Faddleā¢!

Hillary will be 69 when she runs in 2016. Saint Ronnie was also 69 with incipient Alzheimerās disease when he ran the first time. Somebodyās going to have to pick up on that and run with it.
Thereās no āIā in āteamā, but there is a āmeā!
