Discussion for article #244473
Trump: After watching her blabber away on TV, I can say I have never met a bleeding type who was smart. Even air head Megyn Kelly agrees.
The Dumpster will sink himself —Clinton has MUCH more important things she wants and needs to address — It is telling that some can prioritize and that others can not —
“Well, if he wants to engage in personal attacks from the past, that’s his prerogative,” Clinton said. “You know, so be it.”
“He can say whatever he wants to about me. Let the voters judge that,” Clinton continued. “But I am not going to let him or any of the other Republicans rip away the progress that women have made. It’s been too hard-fought-for. And I’m going to stand up and make it clear there’s a huge difference between us.” (Former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton)
This response and statement exhibit more leadership qualities than anything any of the 17 recent GOP presidential contenders combined have ever uttered in the last ten years.
Once again there is a huge secondary issue here regarding the media doing the GOP/Trump’s bidding. The GOP know that every time they bring up a non-issue such as the absurdity as to whether the president used a prop to make him cry about Sandy Hook or in this case personal attacks on Bill Clinton and how supposedly that affects Hillary’s judgement (classic victim blaming), the media will promptly ask either the WH spokesman or Hillary about it, directly. This happens week after week, In essence, the media by bringing up the absurdities try to mainstream them so they can report it later on the evening news and subsequently newspapers will cover it Monday. This is their standard procedure as long as they can try to ding any Democrat. You never see the media do this with the GOP. When has anyone other than perhaps Chris Mathews ever confronted the GOP about their blatant racism?
Other than trash talk, Trump is a nothing burger. Bill Clinton isn’t running for anything. Mrs. Clinton shows dignity and leadership qualities that poor Repubs don’t even recognize because they are empty suits with a lot of money.
Precisely. But you don’t see the media presenting it that way. They put them at equal levels.
Trump: My hair is better than hers.
It’s interesting Trump is focusing on the Clintons more so than his Primary opponents. Is he not worried about them or sending a signal that he thinks he’s the defacto nominee?
Excellent response Madam President!
It certainly cost more.
No it’s not.
Like all frustrated high schoolers, Trump repeatedly invites HRC to climb down into the gutter where he lives, and she wisely declines the offer, proving that she is smarter, more adept and more refined than he will ever be.
Trump has not disavowed the robocalls in Iowa by white racists. Did this make the Sunday shows? Does it show when MTP host Chuck Todd gets a boner talking about Clinton’s long ago disgrace but makes no mention of the KKK out in the hustings for Trump?
It is obvious to anyone who cares to look that the media is doing the GOP’s bidding and of Trumps’s even more so. Of the several Sunday talk shows on today, only HRC and WH Chief of Staff McDonough were guests, and on all the talk shows the other talkers were all Rs including Rube, McConnell, Trump on two shows, Ryan, Christie Paul and Cruz. The media stacks the deck against Democrats even with one in the White House, and its members are made to seem irrelevant
They’re not called “media whores” for nothing, you know.
Man, do I miss that site. And Bartcop.
That’s true. The Clintons are smart to avoid this time any mention of “Get two [presidents] for the price of one,” which Bill floated in 1992, even though that’s what — to a certain degree — we’d be getting.
“Well, if he wants to engage in personal attacks from the past, that’s his prerogative,” Clinton said. “You know, so be it.”
"He can say whatever he wants to about me.
Notice, she never referred to President Clinton. She changed his comment into an attack on her and then just brushed it off her shoulder like a piece of lint at the Benghazi hearings. Lol
And then changed his comment into an attack on women’s rights. God, she’s good.
When Nazis do your robocalls does an opposing candidate need to do anything except discuss the Nazi robocalls?
I think this shows the true genius of Roger Ailes, who realized that Fox News would serve as an anchor on the media, dragging everyone else down to their level.
