And she had discarded that party before she was through college.

The Clintons earned $139 million during the Great Recession and Hillary has the nerve to talk about income inequality? Spewing all her pandering nonsense to the Urban League about poor, silly, down-and-out black people. She’s no better than Jeb. I don’t want her or her George Bush-loving husband anywhere near the White House.

Bill O’Reilly isn’t running for President. Hillary the Goldwater Girl is.

Well, this part was a bit much to swallow:

ā€œWe’ve come a long way from my days going door-to-door for the Children’s Defense Fund and earning $16,450 as a young law professor in Arkansas — and we owe it to the opportunities America provides,ā€ she said.

Positively David-Brooksian in her adherence to the myth that America’s just one big meritocracy, as opposed to the reality that we have a gamed system that funnels wealth to the oligarchy.

Snark alert

Wow, they sound suspiciously like bankers hedge fund managers or guys like Mitty or the Donald…only not as prolific. Can you imagine…Pols and ex public servants cashing in on their staus and influence…this is unheard of!!!

I’ve seen similar stories written about sports figures, hollywood players and the titans of business…nobody bats an eye …

Really a non-story as written. Presidents, especially popular and intelligent ones, make a lot of money after leaving office. After all, didn’t George W. Bush say he was gonna replenish the old coffers when asked what he was going to do after leaving office? Really the only thing that matters is if they used their influence inappropriately and I don’t see even a suggestion of that in this article.

Note to Mitt Romney: see? This is how you release your financial records in running for the Presidency.

The big difference: the Clintons actually paid taxes on the money they made.
