My mother-in-law’s place and my wife and her sisters’ place are in Surf City, which spans Pender and Onslow Counties, i.e., up to three feet of rain. :anguished: Still don’t know what the damage is, but my mother-in-law is safe and sound in her condo in Wilmington, has power, and was even able to go grocery shopping yesterday, although they limited the number of people in the store at one time and how much each person could buy.

I am sad for the losses of life and those yet to come. So much damage in such a short period of time and damage is continuing due to rain and floods. We’re waiting for word when we can go down there and see for ourselves (roads have to be open and power restored). I’m hoping we got lucky.
