Trump isn’t interested in winning, just building a national base of consumers that will tune in to his upcoming “news” channel that will cater to the bigot, xenophobe, racist, misogynist, anti-education market (yes, Fox News is already trying its hardest to keep this audience). DT is taking the Fox News model to new lows and will get more and more insane as Nov 8 approaches. He’s so obviously sabotaging his campaign that not even Diebold can steal this one for him. HRC is our next president but we now have to take back the Senate.

“With fewer federal election observers on hand, Attorney General Loretta Lynch said last week that Justice Department employees will be sent instead to at least as many states as 2012. But she did not say how many officials will go and how much access they will have.”

Ok, good. Justice department employees can still be sent to those same dicey voting sites. Glad Lynch has not shown her hand yet.

Brace yourselves everyone. This is going to feel like a 3rd world election. Probably because a significant part of this country has rallied around a 3rd world dictator. Scary.

would-be third world dictator.

It hasn’t happened yet and it’s on us to make sure it doesn’t.

“If we stop voting every time it was hard or it was denied, women
wouldn’t have the right to vote, black people wouldn’t have the right to vote”

Sadly, I thought we had won these battles a 50 years ago.

Shit, lets simplify things. The all-encompassing reason for civil rights advocates and just Americans who want our to Democracy to work is, ‘drum roll please’
The Republican Party cheats! They are scumbags/bags of scum. They wouldn’t know Democracy if it kicked them in their schnuts, they are anti to fair/anti to honest/pro-douche/deplorable dregs with a deplorable candidate.

That’s why.

The more disruption Trump’s forces cause, the more they’ll be able to make false claims about voting irregularities. But I’m not all that worried because he doesn’t have a good GOTG (get out the goons) organization either.

Without the prior clearance provision of VRA, fighting these racist voter suppression laws is like playing whack-a-mole.

There are good reasons that Donald Trump and the Democrats should be worried about the elections being rigged. David and Goliath Koch, Reince Priebus, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and the corporate Republican elite have invested heavily and hired hackers who can break into voting machines. Many voting machines are made by Diebold, which strongly favors Republican candidates.
