What the story doesn’t mention is that he’s married to Rand Paul’s niece/Ron Paul’s granddaughter, and also served as the head of Rand Paul’s 2010 Senate campaign and Mitch McConnell’s 2014 campaign. He was the one caught on tape saying he was holding his nose to help Mitch in order to further Rand’s 2016 prospects.

Couldn’t happen to a bigger asshole.

ETA:Because Rand Paul’s niece is not Ron Paul’s grandfather, but it would certainly explain some things.
