So, um, are guns allowed ?

To this “Back in 2008, President Barack Obama got “shellacked” at CPAC, Finn said.”
Finn forgot to say-“yet won at the polls”.

“If we could just get rid of the mainstream media (aka reality-based fact-tellers), we could keep any truth from getting out.”

It’s a good time to cite the folks at the Committee to protect journalists who keep track of threats to journalists not dissimilar to those at CPAC.

May all the small-minded lemmings of CPAC and the NRA follow their god-leader Trump straight off the cliff!

Dana ,honey, the only reason you got the job is your looks.
You can sway pot bellied old men, who haven’t seen their weewee’s in years, into thinking they still got it.

CPAC was pre-Trumped, fully Trumpist before Trump was even a candidate. It has been the pit into which every deranged, hate-filled tendency of the right has drained.

To all the tin gods at CPAC
Who are wishing 1892 back -
Your continued delusion
And embrace of collusion
Show that it’s honor you lack.

But of course.

ANYTHING that challenges the “Alternate Reality Bubble” that the far-right (and now, most of the center-right) lives in MUST be DESTROYED.

The worst thing that can happen as far as the Trumpists are concerned is for FACTS and REALITY to intrude upon their wholly manufactured world-view. They now use the term “Lugenpresse”, i.e. “Fake News”.

The term Lügenpresse has been used intermittently since the 19th century in political polemics in Germany, by a wide range of groups and movements in a variety of debates and conflicts. Isolated uses can be traced back as far as the Vormärz period. The term gained traction in the March 1848 Revolution when Catholic circles employed it to attack the rising, hostile liberal press. In the Franco-German War (1870–71) and particularly World War I (1914–18) German intellectuals and journalists used the term to denounce what they believed was enemy war propaganda. The Evangelischer Pressedienst (de) made its mission the fight against the “lying press” which it considered to be the “strongest weapon of the enemy”. After the war, German-speaking Jewish Marxists such as Karl Radek and Alexander Parvus vilified “the bourgeois lying press” as part of their class struggle rhetoric. The Nazis adopted the term for their propaganda against the Jewish, communist, and later the foreign press.

Honestly, any reporter talking to any of these people should lead with the question “Why can’t I carry guns where you work”?

CPACers hate the media because it has this nasty habit of telling the public what they are doing.

CPAC: Where steaming turds of the right-wing information sewer spew their toxic fumes in the face of America ad nauseam.

CPAC has failed to impress me. The attack on the media is phony. The support of killing weapons only proves they are killers.

Some asshole named Ben Shapiro said:

“When you sit there and stand there and you suggest that we do not care about dead children because we do not mirror what you want us to think, that is because you’re acting like vile human beings,” he said, without citing which media outlets supposedly made such claims. “It is disgusting to suggest that we do not care about children who died.”

I will proudly tell Ben Shapiro that his actions indicate that he does not care about the children who died. He can even quote me directly JMACAZ. Fuck Ben Shapiro and the other idiots at CPAC

These people are pure Bolshevism–there’s only one man, one truth, one religion, one world view, and the ends always justify the means when it comes to attaining and holding onto power. Oh, and “we never make mistakes,” another of their unshakeable convictions, as Solzhenitsyn pointed out.
