Discussion: Hatch Spox: We're Very In On The Joke, Okay?

Did Hatch vote to re-authorize the ADA when Dole was sitting in his wheelchair on the Senate floor?
Has Hatch gotten steamed up about the state of CHIP this year?

Ahh, and now comes the full Rockettes show…what’s wrong with these clowns?

Hey, the Republicans couldn’t even take the time to read their own tax evasion bill to know what was in it. How can anyone expect a disconnected, disaffected, borderline senile asshole like Orrin Hatch to finish an entire newspaper article?

Calling that a joke is like telling your HR department that your review was funny and you enjoyed the punchline.
Sorry Hatch, your career is over. Accept it and move on. Yes you turned your career into a joke but the joke is on you.

It’s been said Hatch has said you can call him Al, but they keep calling him Mr. Pitiful. He’s in on that joke, too, it’s been said he said.

These people are atrocious.

OK, fine, let’s assume that’s true and they are being snarky.

STOP BEING SNARKY ON EFFING TWITTER AND SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR YOUR OFFICE!!!

Only people who’ve never done any but the second kind of work, are receptive to the idea of working until you die. They’re particularly receptive to the idea of telling other people to work until they die. Every day they show up at work without actually, you know, doing any work, the better this whole concept begins to sound.

So yes, Orrin Hatch should absolutely retire. He is years overdue.

Your daily reminder that in spite of being criminals, these guys aren’t masterminds.

It wasn’t a joke but the response is.

Yes, the first thing I think about when Senator Hatch is mentioned is his first-rate sense of humor.

Bottom line…some of these decrepit coots have been around way too long and need to make way for people whose ideas are more in touch with what is transpiring now…we can do with a few less fossilized rubber stamps to make our government more vibrant.

When you have to have your aides tell you what to say every time you are supposed to say something, it’s past time for you to retire.

I am not one to go into Ageism. One because I am sliding into that category. But there are those who went well past their shelf life. Hatch is one. Trump is expiring early of course. Hmm, one could say Trump has turned.

But I digress.

Seriously, if I was in a position of responsibility at that age, I would be working to replace me and not planning on being there at 90. That would be a life expectancy issue, not a competency issue. You hit 80 and the physical side accelerates. If you want to keep your legacy running, then you have to expect it has to adapt. Hatch does not have a lot of time left to adapt. If the Republicans are depending on him being there, well it will not go well. The odds presented by fate and biology are against them.

I hate ageist issues and discussions because we seem to be dividing ourselves as a culture. But the old guy who just will not give up the old ways is just as bad and annoying as the young guy denigrating everything that came before him.

Much to do about nothing. Hatch certainly seems to be in the news these days, for different reasons then when he was in his heyday. The reasons for his news coverage is pathetic he said joke Time to step down old man.

Nice millennial spin.

The truth is he didn’t read the article, proving the article so true.

Hatch is the welfare politician. He’s lived his whole life on this superiority binge at the taxpayer’s expense. Yeah, yeah. Self-made. Orrin is worthy of a Hollywood epic.

But what has he done?

By his party’s opinion, the country is worse off under Republicans. They’ve not only screwed up the economy, they have have adopted and abandoned more “principles” than any bunch of zealots in human history.

Individual mandate for health insurance? Fuck it, Fox. Kill the goddamn thing. I never liked the idea. Now what are you going to do about health insurance, conservatives? Let people die, evangelicals?

Sure you were in on it, you corrupt old fool.

Remember Robert Byrd…these guys are staying too long at the fair…they have no business being in these positions interminably …they are doing more harm than good.

Run again you old cruddy fool! Your constituents are so sick of you and they don’t want your representing them anymore. You will see!

I concur with you on every point. I had a small high tech biz,and made sure I surrounded myself with smarter people than myself in focused areas. This worked out well for me as well as those who remained after I retired.
