Discussion: Hatch: Sorry, Romney, Trump Is 'All Over Me' To Run For Reelection In 2018

Such a professional Liar is Air-head Hatch.

Bull-hockey. You want to stay because you are 3rd in the line of succession and you see an opportunity for this all to come crashing down with the outcome being your greatest, only, hope of ever being President.

Why he’ll be a fresh 84 in '18…This death grip on power is revolting and a sad commentary.

My Dianne is also 83 (and so is Grassley), but I’m not crazy about her almost surely running again in 2018 and she’s far more accomplished than either of those two. I’m also looking forward to a possible Schiff challenge, which so far is only a wish on my part. It’s sad to think they’ve lost their personal and family lives after being in government for so long and have nothing to go home to.

So Trump is enlisting Hatch to further humiliate Romney or what…?

Hatch will soon be embroiled in a lurid hymn lyric texting scandal…

Well, this is one way of making it sound like someone wants Hatch to run again. Did anyone in Utah notice?

Hatch is past his pull date.If Maybe he likes the idea of serving longer than Strom Thurmond or Robert Byrd.

Eh, I bet he’s just trying to keep his options open until he has a better grip on the 2018 outlook. If the tea leaves look bad for Republicans he’ll bow out and dump a tough election in someone else’s lap. If not, he’ll run. I think the best case scenario for Democrats is if Hatch steps aside and Evan McMullen wins the R primary. He openly hates PP as much as any Democrat. He wouldn’t caucus with the D’s, but I do think he’d give both McConnell and PP some pretty big headaches.

Talk about karma.

Really feels like ole Mitt is learning what it feels like to be strapped to the roof of a moving car.

It’s just one slap in the face after another for him.

Hey (and majorly OT), David Fahrenthold of WaPo won a Pulitzer

For persistent reporting that created a model for transparent journalism in political campaign coverage while casting doubt on Donald Trump’s assertions of generosity toward charities.

Just a little known fact. The mandatory retirement age for Episcopal priests is 72.

Addendum. I’m a baptized, but not practicing Episcopalian.

Considering the size of their families, you would think that since Mittens is a Mormon he would KNOW when he was getting fucked but Trumpster gets away with it every time.

trumpp has better things to do than worry about Orrin. He has 2 1/2 weeks to turn things around or his first 100 days will be a bust. I double dog dare them to learn how to govern.

@ralph_vonholst I don’t think it’s what the Founders had in mind, and since Dianne’s husband has had a difficult bout with lung cancer, I think she ought to drop everything else she’s planning.

Mic drop for that. Just awesome!

Gerontocracy or a mandatory retirement age?
