Can they even hear themselves? He is tired of the Supreme Court being a battering ball between the parties so it is best to make it an election issue? I really don’t know how these folks can look at themselves in the mirror.

The only party using the Supreme Court as battering ball attack is the GOP! I swear to God I don’t understand how Obama can stand this. I’d be raving lunatic at this point.

Sen Hatch just set there and watched McConnell do just that.
Never has so much stupidity been concentrated into one brief statement than this:

Hatch wants him to come up for consideration after the election during a lame duck session? That’s why Obama will withdraw his nomination a couple weeks before the election and agree that at that point the next President SHOULD be the one to make the nomination. Game, set, match to you Mr. President. Kudos on your political jiujitsu.

You assume that they can see themselves in the mirror, which might not be the case.
That shows how much smarter Obama is than Hatch. Of course Obama was going to nominate a moderate, that is a far stronger political angle than appointing a reasonable liberal. This might be the straw that breaks the GOP camel’s back. If Trump doesn’t do it sooner.
