He should put this episode on his business practices consulting c.v. After all, it’s provided the restaurant enormous good will and free national advertising.
Next move: forget suing, he’ll only lose and it’d never have been worth the effort in the first place. Instead, send the restaurant a bill for services in enhancing the business activity, prospects and value of the restaurant.
And I expect there’s other things he could do as well to keep this on the TPM headlines page, at least.

Having reflected on my interaction with Ran, including what I said
and how I said it, it’s clear that I was very much out of line. I aspire
to act with great respect and humility in dealing with others, no

Wonder why this idiot didn’t follow the rules of Capitalism and refuse to eat there any more. If he had, the restaurant would have surely closed within a week, making room for a newer and BETTER establishment that would have served the public better.

It’s significant that he’s a business prof, i.e., responsible for inculcating the next generation with dog-eat-dog hyper-capitalistic propaganda, in which the Chinese restaurant features as a lowly evolutionary cockroaches to be stamped on by the Uber-class.
