It’s unlikely that Harris would be ignorant of a fairly basic tenet of campaign finance law as a candidate for federal office.

It should be pointed out to Harris that, even if he didn’t know, he’s supposed to hire people who advise him what is and isn’t legal, and help him to stay on the legal side of things, not people who help him cover up the illegalities.
