Discussion: Hannity Declines To Push Top Trump Aide On Lie About Run-In With Reporter (VIDEO)

Whole relationship only “three seconds long” yet he told about ten lies regarding it. No surprise how he and Trump found each other. Perfect match.

Did Sean ask if suffering Catholic Corey could see Jesus’ house from up on his wooden perch?
BTW, why the pink lapel triangle?

NAL so maybe an L can tell me if this isn’t a slam-dunk defamation case. They’ve called her a liar, they’ve called her delusional, they’ve called her a potential carrier of teensy little bombs, they’ve said she just wants attention, she’s made up stuff before, on and on. And they won’t stop defaming her, it seems. So she only has one remedy, right?

“It’s not just the campaign, it’s this whole notion of political correctness,” Lewandowski replied.
…
Manhandling a female reporter doing her job is now political correctness? Waaa?
Talk about deflection…
And then there is the video of that incident. So not only should Corey be in trouble for what he did he is a liar. For me I’m not sure which is worse. I’m an older guy brought up to be truthful and to never ever miss handle a woman. I hold both to be very important.

Of course, you didn’t get the memo? Strength is pushing weaker people around; if they didn’t want to be pushed around they shouldn’t have been weaker. Infliction of pain is a good thing, not a bad thing; it shows your strength. To doubt this is political correctness, Winston, I mean Darrtown, and you will learn in time how wrong you have been…

There will be no curiosity, no enjoyment of the process of life. All competing pleasures will be destroyed. But always—do not forget this, Winston—always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever.

‘it’s this whole notion of political correctness’…uh yeah. We don’t LIKE people to grab other people. ESPECIALLY so hard you leave finger prints and then lie about it. I am SO politically correct about that stuff!

Poor Corey. He went on Hannity hoping to resuscitate his credibility…apparently not knowing his host has no clothes either.

Political correctness? Try this: While standing in line at a department store, forcefully grab the arm of a complete stranger (you’re a man, she’s a woman) and yank a bit hard, albeit briefly, on the pretext she was about to somehow bump into your spouse or kid, whatever. Is what you just did some harmless trifle, or did you cross a line you shouldn’t have?

Not a great analogy. A kid is largely defenseless, and as a parent I have no problem knocking people out of the way who are about to trample my little kid. I am not trying to hurt them but hell if I am not going to defend my kid. The reporter in question was fixing to ask the fully grownup candidate for President a question. I don’t think she was planning to hump his leg.

There’s no legitimate reason to physically interfere with her on those grounds. but even if CL never intended to hurt her in anyway, he lied about it so flagrantly and repeatedly that he loses the benefit of the doubt.

Of course he didn’t. He’s a talk-show host, not a reporter.

Until he pretends otherwise.

I welcome replies and analysis of my posts. However, rephrasing them to the degree my original meaning is obscured really isn’t necessary to be critical of what I write. My “bump” of a child by a stranger hardly equates to your effort at preventing your child from being “trampled”.

Fields was most obviously never going to trample Trump. If her physical actions left no doubt she was going to literally tackle (trample?) him in the aisle no one would begrudge Lewandowski’s intervention, just as a parent would similarly intervene. We all get bumped into in public places. Being physically accosted by someone trying to prevent incidental bumping is uncalled for.

Political correctness: When you get all upset when straight white Christian males act like gigantic assholes and don’t let them say and do whatever they want, completely free from any and all consequences.

As defined by the audience of Hannity.

Hannity to go up against Chris Matthews with his retitled show: “Softball.”

We don’t disagree at all about what Lewandowski did. That it it not acceptable behavior between adults in almost any circumstance. He was not trying to protect Trump except in a purely political sense.

Can I as a parent physically interfere with you if I think you are going to inadvertently harm my child? Doesn’t matter, I am gonna do it. I might apologize or I might tell you to watch where you are going, a-hole, i guess it all depends. And the reason I changed your “bump” to “trample” is that in my role as a protector of a defenseless person I am going to see the worst case. So to me you haven’t crossed a line (this is not for example to excuse you punching someone in the face because you think they are going to run into someone, of course there is line as to how much force is reasonable). But all This obscures what Lewndowski did. He was both physically inappropriate, and lied about it like the classless piece of dreck that he is. We agree his defense is pathetic.
