Riiiight… that totally makes sense. Why would Cohen make up a story, then plead guilty to the made-up story? I mean, Judge Pauley did emphasize to Cohen that he could sentence him to up to 65 years in prison and Judge Pauley asked if Cohen understood that. Cohen paused, gulped, and then proceeded to say “Guilty, your honor” eight times to eight different crimes.

Not according to his attorney Mr. Davis. The crap he dished out was that Helsinki changed Cohen’s mind and that over time he realized Trump was unsuited to the Presidency. It “evolved” said Mr. Davis. ( it never occurred to him that a man that had to pay off porn stars to get elected might have an unsuitability problem I guess ) Clearly self serving bullshit but that’s what’s out there for now.

Cohen may have been forced to change his story. But he certainly was not forced to be greedy and dishonest. Had he controlled his greed and dishonesty, he would probably not be in the position he is in today.
