Discussion for article #245753
I’m sorry, that has to be from the Onion. What?
Either way, they forgot the sidearm.
Step 1: Have half a dozen friends create bogus eBay accounts.
Step 2: Bid this sucker up to the stratosphere.
Step 3: Cancel your bid when you win.
Where’s the blood and the tarp?
Ebay doesn’t look kindly on that. If you bid with your regular account, you have to pay up.
See step 1.
Sorry, I’m holding out for the velvet painting of LeRoy getting nailed to a cross by Obummer in devil horns.
A better idea…
- Go to any toy store.
- Buy some Lego’s and a stencil kit and paint.
- Make 50 of these.
- Sell them on EBay as the REAL LaVoy Finicum “hands up, don’t shoot” action figure with authenticity papers.
- Donate the money to progressive causes.
Really though, you probably wont. The account can be banned though. Not that I’ve ever done that of course.
stands corrected
I believe it was Karl Marx who observed that history repeats itself, first as tragedy and then as a cheesy marketing opportunity.
“You know you might be a Redneck when you have to be called “Tarpman” for people to know who you are.”
Huh. Using a traditional child’s toy to make a really awful statement about misplaced martyrdom. Very tasteless.
Surely the people buying these have literally nothing better to spend money on.
Only if it’s painted by George Zimmerman. I’d also like to see Glenn Beck crying in the background. That’d be awesome.
the 15 Legos that were custom-made to resemble LaVoy Finicum
By who? Lego? Or some idiot with a 10/0 sable brush and some oil paint leftover from one of Finicum’s kit meant to be used on a miniature Ford model truck?
And Hillary in leather gimp suit dulling the nails before Obummer hammers them in.
There’s some poetic justice in the idea that a guy who was ready to die in a hail of gunfire in some heroic delusion of grandeur, and as a supposed revolutionary patriot, is now being represented by a silly looking children’s toy posed in the act of surrendering.
Did they paint wet pants on this version, too?
“Hands reaching for gun. I would rather die than be caged.”
Will they be producing a more accurate version of a crazy fucker fleeing arrest, almost running over a cop with a truck, then reaching for his gun to fulfill his proclaimed death wish (rather than being arrested) figure?
Thought not.
