Discussion: Handel Throws Support Behind Trump's Travel Ban In 1st Georgia Runoff Debate

Why don’t we just ban everyone with the surname ‘Khan’ instead?

She emphasized that she does not support a “religious litmus test” for people entering the country, but said that the Department of Homeland Security needs time to evaluate the United States’ vetting procedures.

So does she understand what a religious litmus test is and does she know what the current vetting procedures are? Does she comprehend that the countries being blocked by this ban are conveniently countries without Trump properties?

Does she understand that the country from which the 9/11 terrorists came is not on this list? See previous question on Trump properties and ask her if she sees a correlation here?

If she doesn’t understand any of this or dismisses it as fake news, send her packing, GA.

It would be interesting to, at least, see the correlation.

To be fair, it’s possible that Handel thought the moderator said Planned Parenthood Ban. Or Breast Cancer Exams Ban.

I got a mailer today from Planned Parenthood urging me to vote for Ossoff…I guess what goes around comes around.

A “ban” from the 6 named countries is a ban against Muslims. No more no less. And it is wrong.

This vile land manatee has been spreading her misanthropic bullshit for years. She nothing more than a white, entitled extremist who would love the return of slavery, banning the women’s vote, and making christianity our national religion. Ossoff must beat this disgusting she-devil.

You are getting at something that has been mostly absent from recent coverage of the executive orders establishing the travel ban.

The stated purpose of the restrictions was to give the government time (90-120 days for various categories of arrivals in the US) to establish better vetting procedures for travelers and refugees from certain countries. The ban was needed, we were told, so that bad hombres didn’t rush into the country.

My first question (and, I hope, one of the first few questions judges ask the Trumpp administration) is: what have you been doing the past 120+ days since the initial executive order?

If Trumpp was telling us the truth about the order, extreme vetting should now be in place and a travel ban should not be necessary any longer.

There isn’t even the slightest chance that she gives a damn that they are conveniently places with no Trump properties.

Thank you for that. Your action just made it a bit more possible for Ossoff to win.

Of course she realizes it, just like most elected Reeps. They. DO NOT. CARE!!! They know they can & will get away with it so they look in all directions except the direction that points to reality.

Trump tweeted the other day, during his post-London-attack Twitter-tantrum, that they are already doing the “extreme vetting.”
