Discussion: Hamas Agrees To 24-Hour Holiday Truce In Gaza War

Discussion for article #225585

Thank God, I was afraid that alternate side parking wouldn’t be suspended for Idh al-Fitr.

wonder how many Gazans died between Hamas’ rejection of Israel’s proposed cease-fire yesterday, and their compassionate decision to propose their own?

I’m still wondering how much clean-up was done between Israel agreeing to the last cease-fire and then starting the ground offensive two hours later.

Oh BTW Does “closing the tunnels” mean steamrolling Gaza until Israeli tanks flatten every shovel in the place?

No, I’m pretty sure it means “closing the tunnels.” You see, right now, there are tunnels into Israel, which are open. Israel wants to close them, so that Hamasniks can’t come into Israel and kill Israelis. It’s really pretty self explanatory.

So how do we end the blockade and keep Israeli missiles from destroying hospitals and killing civilians ?
Is there a self-explanatory solution for that?
