Did Drumpfie give his agreement on this?

‘Cause he’s the one with his finger on the button, not ol’ Nikki… And Drumpfie is doing everything to get to the exciting part where he can push the button and earn top score.

Based on the headline, she almost sounded sane. Then I read the rest of the article… Oy vey… They’re all batshit crazy and stupid.

Haley Tells North Korea: ‘The United States Is Not Looking For A Fight’.

She explained, “We’re too busy looking for the USS Carl Vinson. You haven’t seen it, have you?”

I almost feel sorry for some of these people, caught in ridiculous no-win situations. Then I consider that it is far less than they deserve.

I’m imagining what my reaction would be if the North Korean ambassador to U.N. said “We’re not looking for a fight.”

When there’s a lying, crazed autocrat making the real decisions, who cares what the U.N. Ambassador says?

The US ambassador to the United Nations has insisted that Washington “absolutely” supported a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestine conflict, 24 hours after Donald Trump dropped US commitment to the policy.

Haley joined other Cabinet nominees in expressing differences with Trump on foreign policy issues, starting with Russia.
“Do you agree, that both at the UN in New York and on the streets of Aleppo, Moscow has acted as an active accomplice in Assad’s murder of his own people?” Sen. Todd Young (R-Ind.), asked.
“Yes,” Haley responded
.

Haley also came out in support of NATO, calling it “an important alliance for us to have…and I think it’s [an alliance] we need to strengthen.” Trump has called NATO “obsolete.”

[Pak Kil-yon] is known sarcastically by diplomats as ‘Dr. Chuckles’ because of his rhetoric. Following the 2006 North Korean nuclear test, Pak made headlines when he said that the United Nations should “congratulate” his country’s scientists and researchers on their achievement, instead of issuing what he called “notorious, useless and reckless resolutions.”

“When he does these things, he’s not necessarily doing them to all of us as much as he’s trying to prove to his own people he can handle this. He’s very much feeling the pressure. I think you’re starting to see him get very paranoid. And I think you’re seeing pressure come from all parts of the international community."

If the preceding paragraphs didn’t provide a different context I would have sworn she was talking about DT.

That’s right. Nothing she says has anything to do with the war mongers who do the planning in the Oval Office.

“We’ll see” or “We’re looking into it.”

She can look out a window at the UN building and see it’s on the Hudson River.

If Nimrata wants to be president, North Korea is probably not something you want to be associated with. There are only tow options disastrous win, or humiliating defeat.

The United States doesn’t want a fight, but what about its bigly elected government?

Nikki Haley just confirmed that the people of the United States do not support our President’s ambitions.

United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley said Monday that “the United States is not looking for a fight with North Korea.”

Bull. Fucking. Shit.

And, of course, the fact that she uttered this bit of stupidity will be taken as a fight to Kim Jong Un.

“If you see him attack a military base, if you see some sort of intercontinental ballistic missile, then obviously we’re going to do that,” she said. “But right now, we’re saying don’t test, don’t use nuclear missiles, don’t try and do any more actions, and I think he’s understanding that and China’s helping us really put that pressure on him.”

Nope. China has no intention of kicking the hornet’s nest anymore than has been done. And if the regime gives China any ideas that it’s got an itchy trigger finger, they’ll feel the wrath of many Pac Rim countries as well.

All the Rump regime does is create new red lines in the sand and then cross them.

The US may not be, Haley, but our President clearly is.

President Trump considers himself to be a great deal maker but clearly misses one of the central caveats for successful negotiation. You have to leave your opponent a graceful exit. If our position with the lunatic that controls North Korea is “Do what we say or we will bomb you” we are essentially backing him into a corner with no option but to weaken himself in the eyes of his own people or face military reprisal from the US. Kim’s entire power base is the military strength of his government and he is unlikely to give that up. The scenario I fear most is that NK conduct a missile test, we throw a few Tomahawk missiles at him, and he responds with dropping an artillery barrage on Seoul. Then we have all out war. You don’t fight crazy with crazy. We would have a better outcome sending food than threatening a lunatic who has nuclear weapons.

Haley, here is what it looks like. You can use the picture to help you.

A side note–My Mom worked on this boat when it was in the PSNS for refitting.

Which is exactly what other countries in the region understand. They’ve been dealing with NK for decades and have managed to avoid all out war by not getting equally ugly with any Dear Leaders. Rump’s regime totally doesn’t understand is that they have NO SUPPORT on getting antagonistic with NK. None.
