He might get away with yanking this from NFL. But if he ever thinks about pulling out of NASCAR, he will be buried under an avalanche of poorly written, and misspelled hate mail. And tweets. And Facebook posts, And, ah… you get it.
When we had a draft, I don’t remember the military spending $$multi-millions on “sponsorships”.
The military already has enough problems attracting and retaining women, so it makes sense not to align themselves with yet another organization which is itself associated with violence against and abuse of women.
So the military is taking the same position as McDonalds and Anheuser Busch.
Let the selective Fox freakout commence.
An institution that has a chronic women abuse problem is precisely the type the US Military should sponsor.
Seconded!
Thanks for saving me the keystrokes and brain cells.

Free speech or not, I would like to know why the military can spend our tax dollars on advertising? The military is not a private business, but supported by taxes. Those millions could be put to better use.
Hagel may not like what he finds out. The NFL has all kind of dirty secrets dating way back and if the truth comes out, then that means that the military has been sponsoring a very corrupt and deceptive organization.
On a side note: the NFL is officially a non-profit if anyone can believe that.
Because recruiting is part of their mission, and they’ve determined that ads are good for recruiting.
Because “beating up” on the NFL deflects from the epidemic of sexual assault in the Military???
