Discussion: Great White Hope: Trump Unites Generations Of White Nationalists

The SPLC should label the Drumpf campaign a hate group.

Thank you for the story. I wish the media did more to show the racist nature of Trump’s supporters.

But I also confess that I am at a loss to understand why, in the pages of so many newspapers and other media outlets, Clinton is treated as the moral equivalent of Trump. She isn’t. Stop treating her as if she is.

Drumpf may qualify as a hate group all by himself. He’s like a Matryoshka doll of malignity.

Your point? Name calling is silly.

This seems to me a ripe fruit for picking. Imagine the ad: “Do you stand with Donald Trump? So do these people: (insert video and audio of white supremacists praising him).”

If nothing else, it would put Trump in a very awkward position of denying that consorts with white supremacists. That’s never a bad thing when it’s your political opponent.

Kudos to Allegra Kirkland and TPM for this peek at the New Banality of Evil. The haircuts. The horror.

Drumpf campaign

A tired silly cliche.

Hair Drumpf is showing there are no depths he will not stoop. And he’s sending a warning out to media and other politicians via his bullying to the Clintons–attack me and I’ll spread your dirty little secrets across the media, too. This is not political skills. This is flat-out Tony Soprano style mobsterism.

Unfortunately, the mainstreaming of white nationalists is going to live on long after Trump’s political career is over in November.

Which, as it seems, is something Drumpf is quite familiar with…see David Cay Johnsonton’s piece in Politico http://www.politico.eu/article/what-were-donald-trump-ties-to-mob-mafia-casino-atlantic-city-real-estate-investigation/

ETA: Kinda puts Joey-No-Socks in a clearer perspective. Yeah, just as we thought.

That, and the “fashy” hairstyle. I read it earlier, pre-coffee, and initially thought: “fashy”? Fashy-ionable? Oh. No. Not exactly.

Okay, motherfuckers, what’s your plan to make the trains run on time? We haven’t heard much about that so far.

There’s fewer of them than he thinks, but he thinks extreme aggressiveness can make up the difference.

When are these old white racists going to realize that their America doesn’t exist. The nation is extraordinarily diverse.

300 attendees for their 14th annual dick-fest? I clicked around their website, and it’s what you’d expect. No effort in real branding (it looks something that barely makes it up to late 1990s internet standards) and all the classy talking points pulled straight out of those chain emails you get from your racist grandpa. What a sad group of people. The “alt-right” presence is the real icing on the cake. A bunch of anime porn addicted internet trolls with “fashy” haircuts? Oh no! “There’s more of us than you think” - Christ, I hope not. Nuke it from space.
