Wild speculation. The goal is to shift the target from Mueller/FBI to the Democrats. Because they know the Dems will cave.

Grassley is bought, pure and simple. You would be amazed at how cheaply politicians sell themselves.

This speaks of real desperation. Grassley doesn’t want to be Dianne Feinstein’s Ranking Member. Perhaps, as Josh suggests, what Mueller has is far worse than the public imagines.

More than embarrassed, I suspect. I’ve watched Grassley since he was elected and this behavior in uncharacteristic. Hard to tell him from Ron Johnson or Devin Nunes these days.

This should be laughable; however, these clowns are undermining the rule of law. The FBI is probably the government agency that attracts more conservative recruits than any other. It is not now nor has it ever been a liberal nest.

This campaign defies all logic.

Maybe that should be “defiles logic”.
