As odious as Grassley is, I think his bottom line is correct: that if there is no indictment, there will be some (Clinton-hating) FBI agents who will - demanding annonymity - āleakā to friendly news outlets that they had the goods on HC, but the corrupt political bosses squelched the prosecution. I suspect that the HC campaign is making the same assumption. When there was all the talk about the number of agents working the case, I thought the press was missing the most important point: the more agents working on individual aspects of the case, the less any of them would know about the whole picture and therefore would be less likely to be able to credibly second guess the (almost certain) decision not to recommend the indictment of anyone, let alone HC.
