This is also a sort of APB to conservatives in the FBI to make some anonymous phone calls to Faux News, because if you’ve paid any attention to knowing thine enemy, you’d know that Faux News has had at least 3 main webpage articles a week pushing the idea that HRC has already clearly broken the law and needs to be charged and prosecuted and they are ALWAYS based on something along the lines of “anonymous source with insight into the investigation,” which I always read as “the janitor will say whatever we want for a few Banjamins.”

I’m no crim lawyer, but I think he’d really have to have specific knowledge of an actual crime about to be or in the process of being committed. Here, he’s just using his access to the MSM to broadcast a dogwhistle call for more leaks, particularly ones that will help “confirm” that there is political interference “biasing” the investigation in favor of Clinton. He may as well have given instructions, but he didn’t, right?
