Here is the thing, as I see it
Grassley is leading the charge to refuse Obama’s SCOTUS appointment under the laughable theory that a President should only have constitutional powers for 3 years instead of 4.
The reality is, they don’t want a Democrat nominating another judge, they want to save it for a republican President who would in in November.
So, Grassley is saying “I refuse to all President Obama to appoint anyone else to the SCOTUS; that should be done by a republican winning back the White House in November. However, I totally disagree with the republican nominee’s opinions on the judiciary”
I mean, on what planet, in what universe, does that even come close to resembling reasoning??
