So in all of the discussion on Rachel et al regarding the hearings, no one has actually answered the question of whether the Democrats request for documents can be simply ignored? Do they have any recourse? And, if this is the case, I see absolutely no reason for this “Justice” not to be impeached when the Democrats control the Senate for the very good reason that requests for documents pertaining to his fitness were not honored.

Not to mention the fact that the Kavanaugh people have still not addressed the issue of his lying under oath in 2006 for a lower judgeship.

The Senate Democrats need to get a commitment that Kavanaugh recuse himself from any case involving Trump, his administration, or any matter related to the Mueller probe. If he refuses to make such a commitment, all Senate Democrats need to say they refuse to vote for him. Kavanaugh is clearly Trump’s get out of jail free card, and this is the issue needing emphasis.

Grassley’s the guy. Still on track to get the job done by the first Monday in October.

Grassley and Yertle the Turtle would rush through and rubberstamp David Duke if nominated by their leader, the illegitimate president.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced Friday that confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh will begin on Sept. 4, the day after Labor Day. Grassley said he expects the hearings to last three to four days.

Why should I be surprised that it’s already been decided?

Grassley later corrected his statement, and said the hearings would last 3 to 4 seconds.

If I were the political scumbag Kavanaugh is, I’d promise that, sure.

I don’t HAVE to. Once I’m in that seat I can do whatever the Hell I want, so, hey, I’ll promise you in session that I’m a flaming liberal.

His promise is meaningless.

What else can the Senate Democrats do? They don’t have a majority.

As an Iowan I must apologize to the rest of the country for the hypocrite Grassley.

It won’t matter, the bench fudge packers have lowered the number of votes from sixty to a simple majority for confirming a supreme.

It’s be swell to see Flake, Corker, McCain, Sasse or Collins vote against him but they’ll fall in line. And of course Rand Paul or Marco Rubio will throw a poutie party for a couple of days until they’re bought off.

Look at Roberts testimony, promising to support presidencies and then voting the opposite.
