Ask me if I’m still mad about the Civil War.
I do like the cut of your jib!
South Carolina is a state because it’s too small to be an independent nation, and too large to be an insane asylum. I believe it may be time to reconsider the second clause in that dictum: South Carolina might just make a really swell insane asylum. But they have to take Miss Lindsay back.
Whatever else it is, this is nakedly partisan, not in favor of the Republicans, but in favor of the Trump wing of the Republican Party.
Same thing that was always wrong with him.
He had no other life, particularly now that McCain is gone, so all he can do his please his moronic base and get reelected.
I don’t think I would take advice from Graham.
Perhaps it would be wise to contact the SC Bar association.
Who and what army will do anything about it?
I wonder what Kevin “Nadler is trying to make Barr break the law” McCarthy has to say about this.
So you have an attorney who is arguing against a legal subpoena. You have a Senator who has sworn to follow the laws and uphold the Constitution advising that someone now comply with a legal subpoena. And you have the head of the Senate Judiciary Committee saying that his buddy’s son not comply with a legal subpoena. (And the attorney, the Senator and the head of Judiciary are all the “honorable” Lindsay Graham.)
What am I missing here?
This is the part where the Senate proclaims Little Caesar to be the Dictator for six months (but really forever.) So who plays the role of Brutus this time around? I see nobody within the Republican’t Party with the guts and patriotism to be that person…
Very unsound legal advice right there Lindsey. What if your Senate committee that you chair issued a subpoena and it was ignored? What then? Would a Democrat get to ignore it? Didn’t think so.
This is just one more example of how thoroughly the GOP is in the tank for Trump.
Republicans fall in line, as an old saying goes. They place loyalty and partisanship above any other principle. Getting rid of Trump will only change the appearance of this cancer on our nation.
Graham needs to.be censured.
It’s that ol blood sport called … politics.
I guess all those years Lindsey was just ‘playing’ a lawyer on TV…let alone a congresscritter who swore to uphold the Constitution.
And if you were Donnie, Jr.'s lawyer, you’d have a client facing contempt and obstruction charges, while you’d be in hot water with your state’s bar. Hence your long career sucking at the guv’ment teat.
True to the playbook, it’s the GOP that’s already pulled off a coup. What the hell else would anyone call it when an entire political party brazenly advocates totally ignoring the rule of law and the notion of abiding by the US Constitution? The US is being held hostage by a criminal syndicate just like the mafia, a syndicate aided and abetted by criminals named Lindsey Graham, Jim Jordan, Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, and a host of other henchmen who’ve decided to simply break the law rather than defend the Constitution. We definitely are in a constitutional crisis, this one being far worse than Nixon’s Watergate.
Listening to these guys… elected leaders openly defile the rule of law, you might get the impression that they were tired old white guys drawing a paycheck for undermining the republic…the long term viability of America starts with removing these people from positions of responsibility as soon as possible.
Trump must have photographs of Lindsey that are “compromising.”
