Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Monday joined a growing list of Republican senators calling for Roy Moore to step aside from his campaign for U.S. Senate, saying Moore “would be doing himself, the state, the GOP, and the country a service” by doing so.
But mostly, the GOP. They are embarrassed enough to number Trump among their party as it is.
Unless Moore sees some service to himself in it, he ain’t stepping aside until he’s tied the anchor to the national GOP’s neck.
Offer him immunity, pay off his campaign debts, and buy his nonprofit’s office building for 10 times its worth (Jared’s good for that kind of thing, I hear), then escort him to the border.

Yep, and all these establishment figures demanding that he step down have probably only made that much more likely he won’t. Bannon is probably on the phone with him once an hour telling him not to back down and Tony Perkins is probably by his side begging him to hang in there.
Personally I would have gone with “It’s a drag” or “probably not my preferred circumstance.”
Let him show up and take his seat in the U.S. Senate as a Republican member so that everyone is reminded every single day.
