OMG, Graham would fold like a cheap suit if confronted with Mueller’s firing.
“Probably”, “Without Cause”: Any more qualifiers and the sentence would collapse under their weight.
In other words, they’re getting their talking point ducks in a row to claim he had cause.
YAWN.
Shit, The Asshole-elect, aka Cadet Bone Spurs, could rape Pelosi on CSPAN and the Repulsives wouldn’t impeach him. Lock 'em up! Sad.
Ya know Lindsey. There’s enough evidence right now that Trump has already blown right past the Emoluments clause. Why wait to impeach? No time like the present. It’s not like your party actually works on anything. You guys gotta lotta time on your hands by my observation.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Tuesday said that it would “probably” be an impeachable offense if President Donald Trump fired special counsel Robert Mueller “without cause.”
I can hear Ryan and McConnell laughing all the way from here.
I’m wondering if Rosenstein’s original parameters for Mueller’s assignment can be legally narrowed. If that is possible I can see Trump firing Rosenstein (if he refused to reword his first Mueller order) and getting his replacement to merely change Mueller’s marching orders, as opposed to firing him. What Trump desperately fears right now is Mueller’s intrusion on his and his family’s personal business dealings. If all he was fighting was Russian/election related issues I think he could deal with it.
Respectfully -
Bitch McConnell doesn’t laugh - he merely sneers
Except Ryan and a GOP House will never impeach Trump for anything. Which is why the House needs to be flipped.
I doubt he’d survive the attempt. Pelosi would come out of it with Trump’s nads in a jar of formaldehyde.
Trump could microwave an infant in the White House kitchen and eat it for lunch and the House wouldn’t impeach him.
(Ouch, babe)
Who cares, Lindsey? We’ll do it ourselves next year. We don’t need you.
Not to mention that the senator wasn’t speaking in regards to conviction in the Senate (after the House has impeached). (It’s probably time for questions to lawmakers to use precise language relating to forced removal from office.)
Lindsey’s gonna need a tutu if he keeps up his coy pirouetting in the spotlight.
“Probably so, if he did it without cause, yeah,” Graham replied.
Bolded, is the weasel word that he uses to get out of it, should the firing happen.
Said it before, say it again: I wouldn’t trust him with a Fig Newton.
“I’ve seen no evidence of collusion, but to stop investigation without cause, I think, would be a Constitutional crisis,” Graham said.
Sigh. Cambridge Analytica, Don Jr. Trump Tower meeting, Wikileaks, “Russia, if you’re listening…”, Russian bots, surreptitious calls to Kislyak, Flynn working on stopping Russian sanctions, Sessions, Flynn, Kushner lies, etc., etc., etc…
Yeah, no evidence of collusion.
Well, they might if he microwaved a baby, you know, without cause.
He keeps talking like that, those coveted golf invites to FLA and Jersey are going to stop coming.
