Co-equally licking boots to the last.
It’s all going to come out anyway, Senator. Whatever it is they have on you, they’ll dump it eventually, and all of this will have been for naught. Sad (for real).
Boy he pulled that out of Trump’s ass.
I was going to post something lengthy and descriptive to add to your post, but…I think I’ll pass this time.
If Trump takes Graham’s advice and declares a national emergency it will unleash a legal donnybrook the likes of which we rarely see. Go ahead Donnie, Lindsey, do it. It may bring down Trump faster than impeachment ever could on its own.
The Trump Crime Family (a Putin Inc. subsidiary) really has Linz by the short hairs.
Or something…
It’s nice to see Lindsey Graham living his best life now that John McCain is dead. For all his faults, I don’t think McCain would’ve been onboard with using emergency powers for this - at least not without dropping a few bombs on someone first.
???
OK, I give up. What is this about? This stuff from Graham is getting more and more bizarre.
“It is time for President Trump to use emergency powers to fund the construction of a border wall/barrier.
“I hope it works.”
With that, Miss Lindsey snapped her fan, grabbed her parasol and walked jauntily down the steps of the porch of the plantation looking towards the horizon.
“As God is my witness, that’s all the Tara they’ll ever get.”
Graham and McConnell colluded with the Russians–probably just by accepting rubles and some social media assists.
“We can’t get the president his pony. So, he will have to go take it himself as is his god given right.”
Then do it. Seriously. DO. IT. Stop waffling and just commit. I can’t wait for the backlash
“It’s a Great Emergency. Best Ever. Nobody has ever thought of an Emergency like Me. Make Emergencies Great Again! MEGA!!!”
Honestly, if it leads to the gubmint getting back open, just fucking do it already.
Let’s just see what the courts and the House of Representatives have to say about it, shall we?
Couple of angry tweets, vote condemning it from Congress, nada from the Senate. 5-4 Upholding the Emergency from the Supremes, no need to bet who will vote which way.
He seems rather eager to surrender the perks and power of the United States Senate.
Odd.
I am more optimistic that there will be a favorable outcome, but we’ll see. He has to do it first, and he’s well-known for making empty threats.
Optimists have a terrible life. They go through life thinking the best possible outcomes will happen, and those rarely do, so they are frequently disappointed.
Pessimists have it better. We go through life thinking of the worst possible outcomes. Similarly to the best, those bad ones rarely happen, so we are often pleasantly surprised.
Man Lindsey’s back story is getting more interesting by the day. I really want to be snarky, but Lindsey has stepped into territory that really is incapable of being humorous. Whatever they are holding over his head is seriously dark, like the Trumpian Abyss Dark, a place where light goes to die.
