My bet is the KGB will have a big say…
Impeachment brings to mind something I heard today on that DailyKos podcast this morning. It was kind of funny…
“We shouldn’t allow Trump to pick a Supreme Court Justice during his last year in office, just like they wouldn’t allow for Obama.”
I guess I needed four words to make it clear.
Sally Yates, Special Prosecutor.
“If in fact there are campaign contacts between Trump officials and Russian intelligence officers that would be a very serious event and would justify the Senate forming a Select Committee to look at all things related to Russia”
The question, Senator, is NOT “if” anymore but “when” and “what.” Stop being coy. We need the answer, and NOW.
Oh…well. That’ll never happen. But it would be nice.
Onboard.
If? Waddya mean if?
The leaks are happening because members of congress refuse to acknowledge the facts and do their jobs.
Yikes!!! Clouds of suspicion over the White House? You know what those ominous clouds portended for the Clinton campaign doncha? Maybe Amy Chosick will be resurrected at the NYT so that she can give us daily renditions on how those “clouds of suspicion” are casting shadows of doubt and uncertainty over the man she helped get elected to POTUS.
If not for the Washington Post Mike Pence would still be in the dark.
I keep thinking back to the Access Hollywood tape release and how it truly looked like Pence was going to walk and then suddenly he was a team player. I’m wondering if he got the word that the fix was in and he would be VP if he just swallowed hard and stayed put?
Sorry but Ms Lindsey never had a “grove” to get back. He is suggesting that The Republicans appoint a Select Committee of setting Senators to investigate what happened in the Russian scandals by investigating, and thereby shutting down the whistle blowers who made us aware of the Russian Influance on the Administration in the first place. NOT GOOD
I expect since we’ve heard from Lindsay, we will be hearing much the same from McCain, shortly.
Watch your backs, fellas.
No, Lindsey, we don’t need a select whitewash committee, we don’t need a select slow-walk committee, we don’t need a select treason-enabling committee.
What we need is an independent prosecutor who is selected by an impartial judge. Nobody in the Justice department or the GOP-owned Congress qualifies to make that selection.
Just another “Portrait in Cowardice” from a gutless opportunist. Thanks for playing, Senator Graham, we have some lovely parting gifts for you.
Screw a select committee. We need an independent prosecutor, and since the GOP set the standard for that by picking partisan attorneys – highlighted by Ken Starr – we should get a Democratic prosecutor to do the investigation.
I think we could have fun with this at the United Nations, just don’t tell Russia about the meeting.
The use of “if” by Graham is an unacceptable stall. We need an independent investigation now. There is more than ample evidence now.
“If in fact there are campaign contacts between Trump officials and Russian intelligence officers that would be a very serious event . . .”
Oh, Sean-ny! You got some ‘splainin’ to do!
