What does Mueller think?

Except for the fact that Comey has laid out a clear case of Obstruction, Lindsay has it exactly right.

Why do those darn pesky facts keep biting poor Republicans in the ass?

Let’s wait and see what Comey has to say today when asked if HE feels what Trump was repeatedly asking Comey to do was obstruction of justice, or not.

Well…I always ask Lindsay when I want to know what Mueller is thinking. Doesn’t everyone?

Trump telling everyone to leave so he could talk with Comey in secret and than asking him to stop investigating Flynn is normal behavior, and not obstruction of justice at all. LOL.

I’ve been a prosecutor, both county and federal. Senator Graham is wrong. In fact, prosecutors will often times subject witnesses to testimony at a hearing prior to trial, like a preliminary hearing, in order to determine whether or not those witnesses would make good trial witnesses. Furthermore, when all is said and done, no one has the right or the power to stop Comey from testifying. So it really wasn’t a decision for Mueller to make. Senator Graham knows these things, but, like most Republicans, the truth does not matter to him.

Of course Drumpf’s public blatherings have no bearing in this matter at all. Or perhaps they do. What say you, Senator?

It’s always a sad spectacle when Graham and McCain’s pretensions of non-partisan integrity collapse under the weight of their hackery. The constant repetition of the act doesn’t seem to make it less sad, but it has made it less funny.

I swear if you looked into it there’d be a simple alternating pattern to this behavior of Graham’s—sensible American on Tuesdays and Thursdays, maybe, and meat-thrower to the base MWF. Something like that. It ticks back and forth as predictably as the pendulum on a grandfather clock.

No obstruction, no obstruction, you’re the obstruction!

Is it really a tweetless morning? Multiple people must have been sitting on the boss since yesterday afternoon.

Graham says there is no obstruction of justice.

Where does he say this?

FOX.

Because, of course.

Except that Comey says there were eight private conversations and his opening statement only discusses five. What happened in the other three?

Also, too, Comey is not the only one who may have been involved in the effort to obstruct. There were a few intelligence folks on the Hill yesterday who refused to answer any questions about obstruction.

Prosecutors and investigators often leak or release info in an effort to ferret out other info, to trick other targets into flipping or making a mistake and revealing something. Maybe he thinks Comey’s info will get other folks revealing more – say, tweeting incriminating info?

Actually Senator during both the Watergate hearings and the Iran contra hearings the main witnesses were allowed to testify before congress. I am guessing Mr. Mueller is aware of that. No amount of historical revisionism is going to save this administration.
